The hotel is on the ghats. The car drops you off on the main road which is around 500 metres away. The elderly and the not so abled will find it difficult to reach thru the small lanes. Though they have staff help you with the luggage, pl make sure you call them before going to the hotel. If you are taking an uber do not put the destination as the hotel instead put the J&K Bank which is on the main road. We had a nightmarish time locating the hotel after we put the location as the hotel.

Behaviour of all stuffs except the one in the kitchen, which I believe is a separate one from the main hotel is very cordial towards us. Me and my sister were travelling alone and stuff made our stay very comfortable. Would like to mention Atul Jaiswal and the owner Saurav Sharma.

What can be done is iron grills can be added to the doors and windows. We had a visit by a monkey who ran off with some eatables. Imagine staying by the river with your doors and windows bolted.

The best thing about Sita was the location.

Room is cramped, toiletries not provided, hangars not provided. Bathroom is way too small. Facilities which are mentioned in booking.com for budgeted rooms doesn't align with the services provided by the hotel..

The rooms are in need of a good clean and a maintenance program is needed. Some of the rooms have been gutted are are being fitted out but maintenance will be needed to keep on top of issues.

The Hotel is in a prime location overlooking the Ganges River; the staff were very helpful and welcoming; the bed was clean, firm and comfortable; there was plenty of hot water and the internet worked well.

Oh !! Many.. it definitely is not valuable for money. 1) The room is cramped, 2)no dressing table, 3) rooms are not cleaned very day. One day I need not ask for room cleaning and they didn't do. So you need to ask for room cleaning every day. 4) Door lock is not good, one needs to spend few minutes to lock the door. 5) The day we arrived, there were hairs in bathtub 6) one fine morning there was no water in the room..had to go to reception to ask for starting the pump as none was picking the phone 7) covers of small side square pillows are untidy, black and colour faded. 8) The staircase just outside the hotel entrance is very untidy full of trash. I asked why they don't clean .. they said it is the duty of the town corporation. They may be right but they can clean that if they want to maintain the name of the property 9) food was tasty but there were very few options We stayed in the Maharaja suite. There is nothing "Raja" forget about "Maha".. and let's not talk about "suites" This is an honest and unbiased review

The location is really good. One just needs to go down the stairs and ganga is near to you and all the prominent ghats within the 5 min of walk staffs are good and helpful. They always try to help. They helped in booking the site seeing cabs, guiding in finding saree stores etc.

The hotel was under construction. The constant noise was unbearable sometimes. They offered me to change rooms but I stayed at the same room because I liked the balcony so much.

The hotel is currently undergoing some work. It really needs renovation and maintainance and maybe this is what is happening. I changed rooms and the second room was MUCH better than the first. Varanasi is what it is and don't go there expecting 5 star luxury because you won't get it anywhere. But that's part of what helps you understand it and immerse into it. Breakfast was 1 star I'm afraid, but I only ate there the once so can't really comment on the food otherwise.

The location of Sita is PERFECT - right on the ghats close to all the activity. The rooftop area is also great for viewing. Pantachey was very helpful in ALL aspects and I would like to say thank yiu! WiFi excellent.

Rooms are very tired and the hotel needs to pay more attention to detail at this price point. Breakfast was tasty but very limited.

Hotel Sita Palace On Heritage Ghats Of Benaras is definitely not a three-star hotel for the kind of service and facilities it has. The rooms and beds were clean but the bathroom was passable with a dirty bathtub. Breakfast is served hot and fresh but only after 8:30am. So if plan to go out before 8:30am, do not expect to get your breakfast. For that amount of money, I would definitely like to stay in a better hotel.

Hotel Sita Palace On Heritage Ghats Of Benaras has an excellent location, i.e., right on the ghats. It was around 500m from Dashvamedha Ghat which was convenient for evening arti, visiting the Kashi temple and the market and restaurants. It was around 1.5km from Assi Ghat and we were able to walk there for Subah-E-Banars (morning arti). The staff, including manager Pandey ji and the boys, were all helpful and gave us all the useful information about the nearby places to see and eat.

It's a tad bit pricey given the quality of the rooms and the furniture and decoration. Given the price they should maintain it properly, otherwise it's great.

The view is really good, on the banks of the ghats, location is near from dashasamed ghat. A great view of sunrise from the room.

Water sometimes runs out and it is a bit inconvenient, otherwise the room is ok. Reception manager will sell you boat rides and other tours, but it will come at a premium. He said 1800rupees for a morning boat ride for two persons and in reality it costs 500rupees with a 100rupee tip. He will also overcharge for any taxi rides and airport pickup and dropoff and make up excuses.
