location is a bit far from all monuments but is in a quiet part of town which is nice

Nothing not to like here.

The swimming pool and grounds are beautiful. The facility is lovely and the food in restaurants is good. The staff are excellent and couldn't do enough for you, they are all professional and polite across all departments. A big shout out to Prem and his team who took care of our bedroom and Devender and his team in the restaurant. Slept fantastically in comfy bed. A memorable stay.

That I had to say Goodbye, will come again!

Our stay at the Tay was exceptional and beyond words! The hotel is like an oasis in Delhi city and in one of the greenest neighbourhoods with access to all of the beautiful areas nearby. The staff at the hotel is extremely courteous as you would expect in the Taj. We had breakfast and lunch a few times at the Machan which was superb, the Club Lounge floor with high tea/cocktails is an amazing place with views over the city. If it is your first time in Delhi then highly recommend visiting Lodi Gardens nearby (10min) in the evening for a nice stroll. The Khan market area which is 10min from the hotel is a great place to shop with lovely boutiques especially great for women shoppers! I would also recommend visiting Chanakyapuri Malcha Marg for plenty nice cafes if you were missing European food whilst your stay in India.

The baby cot was sent to our room with a makeshift mattress (read blanket). Though, once we realised our daughter wasn't comfortable and woke up a couple of times, we raised this concern and it was quickly rectified.

The check-in process was swift and we were allocated a suite in a higher category than the one we had booked (thanks Bhagat and team!). The room was amazing with an overwhelming attention to detail. My wife and I enjoyed the club lounge at the cocktail hour and it was a fantastic stay overall. Breakfast was good, bed and amenities were great as usual.

This hotel is incredible - the best I have ever stayed in. The attention to detail was amazing, the whole hotel smelled like flowers, the rooms were cleaned perfected every day, a man came around in the evening offering tea and more fruit and towels. We were very kindly upgraded to a suite. The room was huge and so beautiful. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and went above and beyond at all times. The lovely man Darmus who worked in the pool area made sure all day that we were comfortable, had enough water and towels, and was just so friendly. We enjoyed our day at the spa. Priya was an excellent masseuse. The jacuzzi area was so relaxing. The breakfast was very extensive and had every option. The staff in the Italian restaurant were lovely and the food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I think they need a more continental-style Poolside menu, burgers, club sandwiches, shakes and Katti rolls.

The Taj, is a lovely hotel with great facilities. We were upgraded to the single bedroom suite, nice room size, and lovely bed linen. It would have been nice to have a range of sleep pillows. Being a Club Suite we had access to the Club Room on the 8th floor - where we could have breakfast. The hotel always had a lovely jasmine scent, fresh cut flowers and polite staff. The breakfast was a nice touch, not a buffet in sight! All Al a carte with decent coffee, even though the wait was slightly longer, what else is there to do over breakfast, other than relax and take in the moment. The menu covered all aspects, continental, local etc. The pool was fabulous and discreet and only hotel guests were allowed, I do wish they had a better menu for poolside. Maybe they could reconsider what they offered, as it's Tapas and rather limited.

The only recommendation I have is to rework the HIgh Tea menu. It was a bit underwhelming. The service was exceptional though.

Initially when we checked in with had a slight issue with the room and the hotel changed the room and upgraded us to a much nicer room. Besides the room and amenities provided we also had a good breakfast at Machan the next morning. The food and service were very good. Before we checked out we had the high tea in the Chamber’s cafe. The person attending our table was exceptional.

Unfriendly Staff at the reception normally one is greeted very friendly at Taj but our experience this time was not pleasant. The lady at the reception “Simran” was really arrogant at check in and one had the feeling you are a burden, thats a no-go for the prices of Taj. Also the exchange rates for foreign currency are simply a rip off (has nothing to do with luxury) and are completely detached the market rates….

The check in staff was a bit haughty but all other staff were very courteous and helpful. Really hard to find something we did not like, overall a very good experience.

Very comfortable hotel with all bells and whistles including high tea and cocktail hour. Breakfast was great and the room was beautiful. The swimming pool especially was amazing! Walking distance from the Khan market which is a fun place for diner.

The room was absolutely enormous and it was lovely to have a separate dressing room with space for our suitcases and the ability to close the toilet off from the rest of the bathroom. Our butler was absolutely amazing, leaving thoughtful, unexpected, items in the room such as a silk case for my sunglasses and a silk pouch for my hairbrushes. The Club Lounge had a good view and was run by friendly, efficient staff; a great place to have breakfast, afternoon tea and evening drinks with canapes - this made the room rate really good value as it was all included. The swimming pool area was lovely and the free bottled water was very welcomed.

The quality of the food especially in Warq and Machan seems to have come down. We were here several times before Covid so I am comparing with that.

Great place to unwind when you are in Delhi for a few days. The Spa was very good. Would definitely come back to stay.
