Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe WiFi signal is quite weak, but I could pick up everything I needed with my mobile data outside.
Everything! Lovely old farmhouse building, beautifully furnished. We were half board and the breakfasts and dinners were amazing. I couldn’t have eaten everything but we definitely got our money’s worth! The couple running it were very sweet, and very patient with my rudimentary Italian. We went for some beautiful walks around the farmhouse as well. It was so peaceful.

United StatesNothing. No complaints or recommendations.
Giovanni went above and beyond to help prepare for our visit and was responsive with any questions we had. He personally texted with directions help (we drove a rental car from Palermo) which was very helpful. This is a working farm in rural Sicily, and was exactly what my friend and I were hoping to experience. Dinner (prepared on site by Giovanni's wife) was exceptionally delicious (three course, traditional style with ravioli, bread, chicken and dessert). Rooms were spacious, clean and nice with in suite bathrooms and A/C. Overall, outstanding experience with great hosts. Highly recommend.

NetherlandsYou cannot find this property using google maps. Giovanni gave very clear instructions which we carefully had to follow. The roads in the area are also hard to navigate
The property and surroundings are beautiful and Giovanni and Angela are the kindest and the most welcoming hosts! We truly had the most relaxing stay - it was a great escape from the busier cities and areas of Sicily!

MaltaThere is no wifi in the rooms, so if you want to catch up with your Emails or send messages via WhatsApp or messenger you will have to do this near their office. This was an inconvenience as reception in the rooms is non existent as well, we had an emergency back home and needed to use WhatsApp and Messenger during the night. Having wifi in rooms is something to be considered as it is a means of communication not just work.
We have recently stayed at this agriturismo and was completely taken aback by the quality of service and the amenities. The environment was truly refreshing, providing a serene setting that allowed for ultimate relaxation. The pool was a particular highlight, always clean and inviting, making my swims enjoyable. But it was the food that truly stood out, offering a range of excellent dishes that tantalized my taste buds. Every meal was prepared with care, and the flavors were absolutely exquisite. As for my room, it was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. I could really unwind and feel at home in this space. All in all, I had an unforgettable stay and can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch experience.

FinlandThe private road inside the farm was quite rough for a small car, but manageable if you drive slowly. Google maps does not give correct driving instructions to the farm, since it does not recognize the private road (instead take the SS188c to the South from SS118/Corleone and drive until you see a sign Ridocco on the right).
An exceptional experience in a Sicilian farm that has been in the same family for five generations. The hosts (Giovanni and Angela) were very friendly and helpful. Lots of animals (horses, cows, ducks, chicken, dogs and 30 cats). The pool was very nice because it was so hot. Very beautiful views over the landscape with olive trees etc. The dinner was amazing! A highly recommendable place.

United KingdomThe farm road was long and bumpy, but this is characteristic of a lot of Sicilian roads in this part of the country.
It was in an old, rustic farmhouse in a very rural setting. The hosts were very welcoming and provided a delicious home cooked evening meal and wonderful ricotta filled croissants, yoghurt, fruit, bread etc for breakfast. It was amazing value for money

MaltaWould have preferred if there was wi-fi in the room but for 1 night you can do without it. Wi-fi is present inside the main dining area. Perhaps it was planned like this to have people socialise more. Makes sense too.
Very beautiful area. The place is very quiet. Perfect for animal lovers. Lots of friendly cats, dogs and horses. Perfect place to detach from the hectic outside world. 1 night is not enough to appreciate well the surroundings. Food served at dinner was perfect too. I recommend.

United KingdomNothing really. Worth the drive to experience a truly unique stay
Difficult to state how beautiful and unique the location is, set in the Corleone hills with fantastic panoramas all around. We thoroughly enjoyed a walk around the farm through lots of wildflowers, horses and swifts. Very relaxing; and the perfect antidote to busy streets of Cefalu and Palermo days before. Dinner was lovely and also very good value.

ItalyWhat an adventure getting there, to the very interior of the Sicilian countryside. A beautiful family run heirloom villa with olive groves, grapes, horses, cows, dogs and cats. Did I mention cats? Hosts Giovanni and Angela prepared and served the most excellent dinners in the evenings. The meals were worth the costs alone. A special tour of Angela’ art studio was an unexpected treat! Day trips to Corleone, Due Rocche waterfalls and Ficuzza are located nearby.

GermanyInitially we had diffiuculties to find the place, but this was our mistake: we should have followed the instructions the owner sent us before arrival. Some map, though, might be useful.
A traditional farm house with a beautiful patio, nice large rooms, many animals and really large, quiet property with wide views over the hills and valleys. Freindly cats and dogs, Very friendly owner and his wife, who prepared a very good dinner and breakfast. We should have stayed langer to fully enjoy the place! Next time...
