Drinks and food were very expensive but expected given it’s Taormina

Amazing views from my balcony, there was so much to see at the hotel and some amazing weddings to watch. The food was fantastic the breakfast was amazing, the staff were fantastic, I would highly recommend staying here I had the best time

Not much choice for non fish eaters, but that’s to be expected considering it’s a seaside hotel.

Rooms are a little outdated. Bathtub had a shower that was very hard to use without flooding the floor.

The only thing was at the La Grand Blu restaurant, the hostess twice tried to seat us at a table next to the entrance. We asked to have a different table with a view, which was accommodated.

Exceptional hotel, super attentive staff, fantastic views. Breakfast was outstanding with views of the harbor.

Great pool setup with an ocean pool just as easy to access. Day bed service on offer for those who like to lounge around and not even need to go to the bar. Hotel was extremely spacious so you could lounge in so many parts of the hotel, either on the terrace or on your floor lobby. Shuttle service was awesome as getting to the town was a long, steep hill you would not want to walk in your clean evening clothes. Shuttle Service also provided a comfortable ride back from the town on the top of the hill. Loved the gym with a decent number of gym machines and free weights and the breakfast buffet was as expected very good with alot of options

Room was large - bathroom could do with a little updating, particularly the shower.

This hotel is on the outskirts of Taormina - we used the shuttle bus to go in and out of the town (you book the time each day). We had a large room with a separate wardrobe area. The room was not particularly modern but was nice and quiet. The pool area is lovely with lots of seats available (some up on the little hill behind the pool). You access it through a tunnel under the rocks. There is a bar/restaurant beside the pool for snacks. There is also a lovely beach area but swimming was not allowed for most of our stay due to some rough seas on that side of the hotel. The views were fabulous from the hotel and there are some nice terraces to sit out on. I used the gym a couple of times which was well equipped and also went to one of the complimentary morning classes. We would return if we come back to Taormina.

The rooms were surprisingly big with a big bathroom and even a walk in closet. hotel employees were really helpful and nice, especially Grazia at the pool bar. would definitely stay there again

Shuttle bus fills up lightning quick to Taormina town centre. If you miss it, taxis are easy to get back.

Pool and private beach are incredible. Worth staying here alone for the view. They can get a little crowed and loud at times, but all in good spirit amongst other people enjoying their holiday. Restaurant at sea level is breathtaking. Great all round.

In terms of location it’s out on its own and actually away from the town - be prepared to walk a lot anyway! There is a shuttle service that runs till late and plenty of taxi’s all be it the town to the hotel was 20 Euro. Must see’s are the town of course and the small island of Isabella is a walk away but well worth a visit. Finally, the views from the hotel outside areas - particularly at sunset are to die for - worth every penny of the stay for that ambiance alone.

We loved it all. 

The caves leading to the gorgeous beach and the infinity pool. The views from the breakfast area were spectacular. The proximity to Taromina fabulous. We loved everything about this hotel.

Breakfast wasn’t great. Was a bit basic. Too much sweet stuff and the buffet eggs and bacon was a bit off the mark. Making you pay for an omelette is ridiculous when you pay $650 a night for suite. Bedrooms were old and need a revamp

Location was amazing The pool had stunning views Private beach area Food and drinks were 1st class Staff amazing and helpful. We got upgraded for our honeymoon which was kind and a free bottle of champagne on arrival which was a lovely touch.

Desk reception and terrace personnel very kind and friendly. Excellent the shuttle bus service to downtown. Great access to beach area. Good quality of breakfast and the dinner dishes. I am sure I will come back.😀

Room is very small. Two people should wait for each other to pass between bed and table. Bathroom is very small too - two people can not be there at the same time… Also - cleaning lady lectured me of taking extra body lotion ( small packet) from her carriage. I asked her before to put extra packet in the room, and she did not. She makes me feel very uncomfortable. Perhaps, she should ask nicely ‘Can I help you with something?’. The same did pool person - lectured me about rules. He makes me uncomfortable too. It is luxury hotel and stuff should be trained to meet hospitality standards and do not lecture guests for ‘wrong doing’ but nicely offer help.

Great hotel with great amenities. The pool and the beach are both very impressive. The view from breakfast is magnificent and the room size was the largest we had in Italy! Highly recommend
