Views amazing. Pool Amazing. It’s got it be the only breakfast terrace with an uninterrupted view of Etna across the bay. East shuttle to Taormina town. Lots of places to walk to. Stunning.

We found the restaurant to be good but totally overpriced. And to add insult to injury, they then add a service charge even for in house guests. To be honest, we would have eaten there more often but changed our mind after the first very expensive meal.

The view from the hotel room is absolutely spectacular and the staff were very helpful. It is also great that they have a shuttle bus to Taormina old town which would have been difficult to get to and park otherwise. Walking through the cave to get to the restaurant and pool is something that is literally beyond words (but amazing)! Something that we will remember forever!!!!

The staff was helpful and friendly. The daily breakfasts were plentiful, delicious and a great variety. The shuttles into and from town was a pleasant surprise.

The room decor and furniture are quite old-fashioned. It was surprising that many of the restaurant staff spoke quite limited English. Neither was a major issue and added charm to the experience.

Very pleasant hotel in a spectacular location. Rooms are quite large with sea views. Each had a small balcony. The highlights were the beach and swimming pool. Access to both is via a tunnel dug into a cliff! Both are very romantic and have quintessential Italian feel. Breakfast and all restaurants were excellent.

The bars inside and out felt pretty understaffed.

Very pleasant. The water level with the cave is definitely the star of the show. Nice views and a comfortable room.

We had to take a taxi to the city center because the shuttles were all fully booked. I wish they had specified the limited seats before our arrival so we could book them prior to. This was the only thing we would want to improve.

The location was great and the views were spectacular. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was truly the best thing I have ever experienced in a hotel.

The interior decoration of the room looked a little tired and could do with a make-over

Plenty of space to find a sunny spot either by the pool or beach or on one of several sun terraces or even on your own. Never far away from a bar or restaurant with plenty of choice. Fabulous service at the poolside.

There was only one iron in the hotel in a room with no water to add to the iron and a very stained ironing board cover. Very disappointing for a hotel of this standard. Also dinner options were limited and average

Location is amazing, incredible views of Mount Etna and pool is lovely. There are lots more sunbeds than in the pictures round the corner from the pool so plenty of space. There is a free shuttle to Taormina which we used, very reliable - needs booked in advance as places fill up but not a problem to plan ahead a little - could be more of a problem in peak season. Breakfast was very good - the cooked ‘British/american’ items weren’t very good but everything else was brilliant. Staff at all times were very helpful

The shower wasn't my favorite...but just because of the shower head, which was difficult to adjust, but it had great water pressure and the temperature was perfect. It was clean and spacious. You also should know that it is downhill from Taormina, so you will have to drive, take the shuttle, or cable cars to get into town. I would stay here again, though...it was worth the minor inconvenience.

This is an amazing property. The reason I booked was the mention of the elevator carved out of stone which lead to the private beach. As soon as we were checked in, we headed down, and it did not disappoint. You are literally stepping out into a cave and your first view is of the beach which was beautiful. If you head the other direction, you are walking though a carved stone walkway to the pool, pool bar, and a restaurant. The staff was very friendly and helpful, particularly the lifeguards and pool bar staff. The room was as described. We had a balcony and our view of the sea was gorgeous.

I would only suggest a minimal furniture and decoration upgrade and it could easily become a 5 stars hotel.

The hotel is beautiful but the location and views are insanely gorgeous! feels like Paradise! No matter if you are at the restaurant, the bar, the swimming pool or their own private beach you will always enjoy the views and their exquisite service! My parents and I had booked 2 separate rooms and they upgraded us to a sea view enormous apartment-like room. They also offer free shuttles to the center of Taormina (important to reserve a spot). Breakfast was super complete! I loved my stay at UNAhotel Capotaormina!

The free shuttle bus to the center must be more frequently or to have more than one shuttle service, so can all the guests benefit from this service.

The property is well located in the sea, and has all the facilities needed.

The meal in the restaurant was not great. Choice of food could have been better. It would have been nice if we were asked would we like dessert, tea or coffee - but no, staff seemed too busy setting up for breakfast!

A staff person barged into my sisters room unannounced apparently to fix an umbrella that may blow away. This was reported and not real happy with the hotel response. Another issue was that I was responsible for getting car transport for a large group mainly handled through concierge. The car company gave us run around and different quotes. The staff was somewhat helpful but certainly inconsistent. It took way to much effort and confusion than what should be experienced. I gave overall good ratings though because hotel was nice.

Breakfast was outstanding except for flies!
