Convenient located in the centre of Genova. And yes the entrance to the parking lot is narrow even for a compact car.

Bed slightly too firm for us but still an amazing room

Excellent location, about 10 minutes from the port which has lots of restaurants. Down a little side alley but always felt safe. Staff were amazing gave us lots of helpful tips

An excellent choice if you are looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful in Genoa

There is nothing in the hotel except the reception and the rooms, so if you want more then pay more and go somewhere else! It was exactly what we wanted. The hotel is up a narrow alley (lots of those in Genoa) which could have been a bit scary but I was with my husband so we weren't worried. It was excellent for the price.

We wanted somewhere cheap and cheerful for one night in Genoa and Hotel Bologna was a great choice. The room was comfortable and clean but the best thing was Anna, who helped us get the most out of our short stay. She told us how to get to Portofino, where to eat in the evening, where to have lunch the next day and how to see the city. We followed all of her recommendations and they were all absolutely fantastic and spot on. She was helpful, spoke excellent English and very welcoming.

I liked everything about it. The host, Anna, was amazing in guiding and welcoming us, she even booked a table for us at a local restaurant with amazing food. The room was newly renovated, very clean, very chic and pretty, the location very central, close to the main attractions. Everything was amazing!

The way towards the parking with the car was through a very narrow alley but that's not really anything the hotel can change or do anything about.

The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Our room was clean with nice beds and air conditioning which was very nice considering the heat outside. Would def stay at again.

One of the streets at the back of the hotel was a little intimidating but once we realised this we just used the Main Street entrance to the hotel and felt very safe

Owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were recently beautifully renovated and clean. Location was great for walking to all the main areas of the city

The car parking is an additional 15 Euros. It is difficult to find because google maps takes you to the wrong location. The map on booking.com is correct so would suggest to any visitor they use this!

Good hotel in excellent location for seeing the city. Friendly helpful host. The room was clean with a really nice refurbished bathroom and working air conditioning. Once you are down the extremely narrow lane, (I had to fold in the wing mirrors on a Fiat Panda) the car park is secure.

No complaints, more beverage choices, milk and biscuits in the room maybe but everything else was fine!

The hotel was in a quiet location a few minutes walk from the station and airport bus stop. No breakfast is served but the Palazzo Reale cafe is a few steps away with good coffee, pastries etc and a garden area. Places to eat and drink nearby and easy walking distance to the main places of interest. The Ascensore Montegalletto is very near and goes up to the Castello d’Albertis which is an interesting, peaceful museum with a nice cafe and views of the city. The hotel room was clean, good shower and all that we needed for a short stay.

Location is sketchy. Very difficult to find at night.

Owners were very friendly and helpful. We arrived at night and they found a restaurant that was still open. Driving directions were not good and the place is actually down a back alley so it seems a bit sketchy at first. Driving the alley and parking is extremely tight but they guide you in and out once you find the place. No elevator and 4 floors so be prepared to schlep your bags. Cute rooms but no view even from top floor.

No elevator could be an issue for some. Also while parking was available, the street to access it was so narrow that it took serious driving skills to get in and out without damaging the car. However the owner did a great job in helping us through it.

The owner went above and beyond and explained where we should go on our visit and how to get there. Also the location was great, right in the city centre.
