Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The host Anna went out of her way to help us in every respect! She assisted with parking in a very tight spot, she booked restaurants for us... Etc, etc. Unique personal touch. The small hotel is right besides the city centre and walking distance from all the need to see and do things. Thank you so much Anna!

Hotel Bologna's location close to Genoa's Principe railway station and old city centre was really excellent. Our hosts were extremely helpful - and offered great advice on where to visit and eat. They also offered to take our suitcases up 3 flights of stairs, which was particularly welcome. Lots of sounds of old Genoa came wafting through the bedroom window on warm evenings, which was nice!

United KingdomThe access to the car park was the most narrow road we'd ever driven down, literally the width of the car. Being an old buidling there were no lifts and we were on the 4th floor with heavy luggage so quite a challenge. Other than these things that are unavoidable everything else was great.
Fantastic location in easy reach of all the attractions. Charming old buidling. Rooms were compact but confortable with everything you needed. Lovely staff. Very helpful and gave lots of useful information.
