The bathroom was awkward. The toilet was right at the door. But it was spacious.

When we booked, the only option was a king-size room. This room was huge! Two king-size beds, a love seat, chair and ottoman, desk and mini fridge! The room was quiet, and I couldn't hear outside noise. Curtains kept light out. Perfect walking distance from downtown!

Seats outside the room between rooms. Inconsiderate guests from other rooms talking and laughing until gone 10pm right outside our door. So take ear plugs!

Location was key as is only a 10 minute walk to Lynchburg Square and another 10 mins onto the JD Distillery. Front desk and cleaning staff really friendly and helpful. Subway and Chinese restaurant/takeaway 2 minute walk away. We would stay here again!

Few minutes walk to Lynchburg historic centre and Jack Daniel’s Distillery, parking right outside the room, clean, very friendly staff, overall good value. Be warned, there several diners in town but all closed between 5pm and 7pm though there is a Chinese takeaway next to the hotel which is open until 10:00pm.

Glue on bathtub floor where they took up a mat. Would have liked a box of Kleenex.

Main area has been completely redone. Beds and bedding were very comfy. Shower could use a redo but was clean. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

My wife and I took a late Valentine’s Day getaway to Lynchburg, TN, over the President’s Day weekend (2024). Originally, we were going to stay in Tullahoma; however, after seeing the reviews for the Lynchburg Country Inn, I decided to chance it. When we arrived, the manager allowed us to check in early because we made better time than I originally thought we would (220 miles). He was very personable and offered good advice on how to see the attractions in the area. Now, mind you, this isn’t a five-star motel with a bunch of fluff and frills, but it was clean, very clean. I always check my room thoroughly before bringing in my luggage, especially for signs of bed bugs and vermin, and room #207 passed muster. The bed was comfortable, and the room had a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The only issues, if that’s what you want to call them, were the lack of chairs and the fact that one of the towels had a slight stain; however, it had a faint smell of bleach, so there was no issue with it being sanitary. We liked the fact that the floor was laminate rather than carpet because of the sanitary issues that sometimes come with carpeted floors. As with all older motels, the walls were somewhat thin; however, there were no major noise issues, and the TV had an excellent choice of channels. Overall, for the price I paid, I was extremely happy with my stay. The motel could invest in a little more variety concerning the vending selection, but there’s a Subway and Chinese restaurant next door and a Dollar General within a 3-minute walk. I have no issues recommending this small, independently owned motel, which meets all the basic needs of the traveler. In summary, it’s clean, quiet, and a good value for the money.

The wall are very thin and the people in the next room were up late and very noisy. The room was next to the road and traffic could be heard all night. Strong smell of pot in the area as well.

We stayed here one night on the way to Nashville to visit the Jack Daniels distillery. It is basic, but clean and has all you need. The owner is also very friendly and funny! In the morning they offered coffee with some pastries. The distillery is a 15 minute walk from the Inn (google says it’s longer, but it is actually much shorter). Also very close to the quaint Lynchburg town square.

There was nowhere to sit in the evening. Town also closed. So only option is to lie on the bed and watch TV after 6pm. Walls very thin.

Clean basic hotel. Beds were comfortable and the host was accommodating. Complimentary coffee and bakery goods in reception.
