Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

We really liked our stay at the hotel! We had a family room with 4 beds and it was really comfortable, as there were 2 rooms connected together, so there was enough space. The breakfast was delicious!

United StatesThere was nothing we did not like. We couldn't have asked for more.
The hotel is lovely and located in a very small town. We had a car so it was easy to get around to the other towns and sights in the area. There is a bus system but I do not know how frequently they run. The staff at Digonera are friendly and helpful. They have a table full of brochures and information for hiking and other activities by the front desk and Marina will help you with reservations. She was very kind and made a phone call to a winery we wanted to stop in on our way from Digonera to Milan. There is a bar in the hotel and it has a small menu of pizza, salads, and cold platters of meats and cheese. To go to a full restaurant you need to drive, or take the bus. When you arrive the staff will give you a list of restaurants in the area. We really enjoyed the food and view at La Murada which is located down the hill from the hotel. At Digonera they serve a terrific breakfast: cold cuts, cheeses, breads, sweets, fruit, etc. Lia who runs the breakfast room is also a good source of information. Our rooms were quiet, it is a quiet town, and nice and clean. Each room has a balcony. There is no refrigerator in the room but Lia said they would keep the bottle of wine we bought at the hotel bar in the refrigerator if we did not finish it. Of course that wasn't necessary!

United StatesThe hotel is definitely off the beaten path, which made for limited dinner options, but the hotel was upfront about this.
Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff members were very attentive and helpful. Breakfast options were plentiful and delicious!

CanadaThere were two negatives that I could think of: 1. because this is a historic building, the rooms are not properly soundproofed. This meant that we were kept up until midnight by other guests laughing and talking in the neighboring room as well as guests staying up late on their balconies. 2. There is no A/C. During our stay, the days were pretty hot, which meant that the room became very warm (this would certainly not be an issue in the Fall/Winter/Spring months).
We stayed at Digonera Historic Hotel B&B for two nights in August 2023. Upon arrival, we were immediately charmed! It is a family-owned hotel and everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful. Our room was on the third floor (room 34, I believe) and it was just as charming as the exterior. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had a private balcony that overlooked the mountains, which we definitely took advantage of. Breakfast was fantastic -- a generous spread of local cold cuts, breads, juice, cakes, yogurt, coffee, fruit, etc. The location is perfect for hiking. It was a 20 minute drive to Cinque Torri/Laguazoi, and only about 40 minutes to Cortina d'Ampezzo.

United StatesThe shower in the bathroom was small and could be hazardous to older or disabled guests. The room was a little hot at night and there was a little street noise.
Cute, historic inn in a charming little village. Excellent service from staff (they even made us a to-go breakfast on a day when we had to leave early). Comfortable room. Great breakfast and they have a small restaurant on site. Good location if you have a car.

United StatesThis charming historic Inn has been family-run for almost 100 years, and you are warmly welcomed by a family member from the moment you enter. The building and decor take you back to a different time, when wood and stone were crafted to a thing of beauty that would last for centuries, and being a guest of a conscientious family far outweighs any meager benefit of staying in a corporately-owned austere and cookie-cutter hotel. Any imperfections add to the historic charm. The bathroom is modern, the daily breakfast delicious and the location, being almost right in the center of the Dolomites, made it easy to access many areas. My family of 4 very much enjoyed our stay here.

SloveniaThe bathroom has a small shower (my partner is 1,90 m and could barely be inside) but this is the only remark I have. The res was beyond amazing.
Breakfast was beyond amazing. From eggs, salami, cheese, to pancakes, brioches and pastry. They also offer almond milk which was a total blessing. They have a dinner offer of pizza, panini and similar which we ate one night and was good. The staff is so kind and friendly - they made us feel at home immediately.

IsraelThere is a church near the hotel and the bell rings often and very loudly, starting from 7am. The bedroom floor was awfully squeaky.

United StatesHostess Maria was wonderful. She gave us a welcome drink card for a restaurant up the road where we got free drinks and charcuterie board. Breakfast was wonderful the room was a good size. Bathroom was tight with an odd shaped shower that was a little hard to stand/sit. Overall wonderful stay. Would recommend for others to stay here. Great views from the room.

FinlandIf there is noice, then that can be heard from room to room or e.g. church bell at seven am (It was a good alarm for us, we wanted to head out early).
Super good breakfast for Italian breakfast: cereals, bread, sausage, egg, sweets, coffee, orange juice... Option for Sauna exists (not quite to Finnish level, but does the job) - I would propose to add more stones to the heater. Nice sunny morning start. Easy and quick access to Marmolada and Arabba (opposite directions). 4 course dinner with 25e was good value for money
