I would only say 1 thing .. the door at the bottom of the apartment block slammed very loud when people came in and out . That’s it ! Outstanding place x

Absolutely everything! The rooms have everything you need, clean and comfortable. The stay is stunning and have incredible views. Paul was amazing at making us feel welcome. The food was exceptional at Ceci. We enjoyed Aperitif by the fire. Breakfast overlooking the expansive views of the country side. We cannot wait to come back!

It’s a great and value for money stay. We got upgraded to a terrace room. Watching the sunset from the terrace (which can accommodate 10 plus persons) is a one of a kind experience. The room is clean with a very chic interior. Paul (and his shadow, the frenchie) and his crew are very friendly and helpful!

Could not fault a thing, the hotel was spectacular and the views were like nothing I've seen before. The staff really took the hotel to the next level, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Magical is the only way I can describe our stay and we can't wait to bring our friends and family back. Additional points, highly recommend the cooking class with Delphina, this was a highlight of our holiday! -There is access to prosecco and beers next to the swimming pool which i thought was a great touch. The food in the restaurant was also the best of our holiday!

It's is very remote but if you want to get away from it all it's perfect.

Very unique hotel. Part of an existing hilltop village. We had 2 bed apartment. Very spacious. 2 bathrooms. Kitchen. Terrace with stunning views. Restaurant was fabulous. Faultless food. Breakfast was so nice. All fresh. Homemade. Swimming pool looked lovely below us but weather bit chilly to try!

Aethos is a beautiful hotel nestled within the village of Saragana, with stunning views and the most delicious food we have had on this trip so far. Delphina, Pedro and Guillme in the restaurant went out of their way to make us feel comfortable- and we preferred eating in the hotel more than any of the food we had when we were out and about. Paul, who manages the property, truly went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. When we arrived on a rainy afternoon, he greeted us out on the road with umbrellas and helped us bring our stuff in. He guided us on what to do around town, and was such a delight to chat with. Aethos is lovely, but the staff is what made this stay special. Thank you!

Five stars plus. Could not recommend this place enough. Our stay was simply wonderful, we enjoyed it to the fullest. This hotel ticks all the boxes: charming, spacious rooms and one of the best beds we’ve ever slept in. Not to forget: the uniquely designed soap made my skin and hair feel softer than ever. This package comes in a truly unique setting: right inside a small medieval town, overlooking the most beautiful hills of Umbria. Congrats to Paul and his team, especially the two Portuguese guys (Pedro and Guilherme). They made us feel at home, every second of our stay. Kudos to Mabel as well, she served our breakfast on our first day ;-) Even if you’re not staying at Aethos, you should swing by for a lovely dinner - the food is simply amazing. We are definitely coming back!

Food was great. After tasting the lunch, we took it every day afterwards. And of course the dinners @ Ceci are amazingly tastefull. Great pool. Great viewings. Excellent winery just next to Aethos. Ideal place to get some rest and enjoy the Italian food.

Everything was incredible - from the staff to the restaurant, breakfast, the pool and THE VIEW. The view is worth a trip alone. Paul and the team go above and beyond to make sure your stay is exceptional. Breakfast is fantastic, served on the terrace overlooking the hills and their gorgeous pool. The pool is the perfect size with plenty of sun loungers (and sun basically all day) and trees surrounding blocking out the wind. The food at the restaurant is next level, even for vegetarians! The hotel is beautifully designed - minimal and understated, but perfect.

This place is a hidden away, hillside Italian gem; the perfect getaway for anyone looking to experience Umbria at its most beautiful. The interiors were gorgeous; modern but staying true to the rustic heritage of the buildings. The food was phenomenal and the kitchen catered to a vegan diet with a huge amount of care and energy. The team working at the hotel, led by Paul, were all wonderful.

Nothing! I’d just recommend having a car with you if you go.

Everything was perfect - location, food, drink, employees, room decor! Even great aircon which was needed since it was so hot! Highly recommend.
