Location has an amazing San Gimignano towers view, nature is amazing and the smell/freshness of weather is unbelievable. Room decoration was very nice and comforting, it is obvious all objects has been chooses by a very pleasant person. Host Barbara was very helpful and nice , she gave many amazing advices for our trip. Breakfast is very very good and has lots of local Tuscany dishes which is very delicious. Room was very clean , one of best place for San Gimignano

Homely and comfortable place. Perfect place to explore the countryside. Can access the town fairly easily. Barbara is the most welcoming and supportive host/owner! The breakfast spread is unforgettable (excellent way to start the day)! The pistachio spread is super yummy!

Our stay at Podere Sant’Elena exceeded our expectations. Everything was perfect: the location and views of San Gimignano, the grounds (trees, flowers, nature), room comfort, amazing pool, delicious breakfast, and most importantly the friendliest and kindest hosts. Barbara and her family welcomed us to Podere Sant'Elena and we immediately felt at home. The place is so beautiful as you can see in the pictures but even more beautiful. We rented a car in Florence and drove to Podere Sant'Elena which is located just outside San Gimignano. Getting here is easy and checking in was very smooth. We were able to use the private parking facilities and based our Tuscany stay here. Having a car was very useful to access all the places we wanted to reach from here. Breakfast was absolutely amazing. We had many options to select from. Coffee was great also. We were lucky that the weather allowed us to sit outside and enjoy the view of San Gimignano while having this great relaxing breakfast. The room is clean, comfortable, spacious and the bed is comfortable for us. We also had access to outside sitting and we felt we had a great home for our stay. This was our first time in Tuscany and finding a good place for a dream trip may be overwhelming. Podere Sant'Elena met all of our expectations and made our trip amazing. We left wanting to come back and stay longer next time. Incredible hosts and beautiful place. Thank you,

The host Barbara and the whole team are amazing, friendly and helpful, with insightful recommendations on food, wineries… The property is situated in a very calm and peaceful location, and yet has an amazing view over the historic San Gimignano town. Our room was charming, with a nice private patio, very clean and cosy. Breakfast was divine, prepared from the freshest local produce and Barbara’s bakery items are a must try. Mostly it was a wonderful experience and surely hope to be back someday.

A wonderful location with a beautiful view of San gimigano. Barbara was so lovely and welcoming. The pool has the best view. A traditional, delicious Italian breakfast each morning and chatting with other guests was wonderful. Spotlessly clean. If I'm ever back in Italy, I'm definitely coming back to Barbara's!

The property is beautiful and has amazing view on San Gimignano. The Host is very friedly.. Barbara and her team from the first impression will make You feel like at home. The breakfasts are prepered from local products, Our apartment was very vell equipped. There is a possibility to buy a products made by Barbara and her family like olive oil, wine or biscuits from her bakery. We definately recommend and love to come back.

Peaceful Location and the view up to San Gimignano was beautiful. Our room was decorated beautifully, bed comfortable and linen lovely to sleep in. The stand out was the selection for breakfast and attentiveness of all the staff. Barbara was so friendly and helpful with suggestions of places to see and nearby restaurants and helped us with reservations. Great place to base yourself for day trips to many areas in Tuscany.

This has a gorgeous view across vineyards and the valley over to the village of San Gimignano. The room was spectacular in that it was decorated to match the history of the place and it was peaceful and we could hear lots of nature at night. The pool was a beautiful blue and very wonderful to swim in. The breakfast was outstanding because Barb shares her wonderful pastries from her bakery and the view from the outdoor patio was wonderful---including an olive tree orchard and bird of paradise flowers and geraniums. Barb and Irina were so fun and energetic----the coolest thing was they dealt with getting our trip laundry done by someone in town, gave good dinner recommendations when we were too tired to search the internet. Wonderful place and the bestest people!

Wonderful bed and breakfast in a quiet hillside location. The owner Barbara served up a great buffet breakfast with omelette, toast, cheese, fruit spread, croissant and juices.

i loved everything. maybe our bathroom could have been a bit bigger.

the location is perfect! it is a few kms away from San Gimignano, and it has a really breathtaking view. (approximately 500 m on a country road, the rest is regular!). the house has only 6 rooms, an extremely nice setting, interiors, many curated lovely details. the breakfast on the terrace is amazing, with a huge variety of salty and sweet dishes, all of them coming from the owners’ own production or nearby farms. Barbara was extremely friendly, we loved her, you never felt you are a tourist, it all felt as if you would be staying in a friend’s house. the whole xperience was much better then we expected! we would definitely go back!
