Jenny and Emily’s place is truly amazing! Jenny is so kind and helpful, he helped make reservations for us and gave us amazing recommendations on where to travel to and where to eat. Emily has a cooking class that was the highlight of our trip. We couldn’t recommend this place more!!

The Apartment is a short walk from the road, but it is all paved and the spectacular views make it all worth it.

The Breakfast delivered every morning was awesome ! Fresh eggs, fruits, breads, and coffee. The apartment is located just up the hill from Positano. It has the most amazing views of the mountains and the beautiful blue Mediterranean Sea. We even had a huge private Rooftop Terrace to enjoy as well.

It is located in a quiet hilltop community with beautiful views of the Sea of Naples. The villa was very comfortable with lots of room. It has two balconies and a large sundeck at the top of the property for enjoying the lovely scenery. Our host, Genny, couldn’t do enough for us. We were in constant communication with him from the moment we booked the villa, throughout our stay, and even afterwards. He gave clear and detailed directions on how to find the villa and he gave us many suggestions on things to do and places to eat. He always went over and beyond and tried to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. He even provided a kit with spaghetti, tomatoes from the garden, garlic, and basil, so we could make our own pasta in the kitchen.

Nothing really, but if your plan to spend your time in Positano the location is not convenient. A taxi is needed or you to wait for the bus back and forth.

Loved everything about the property! The views were beautiful and the village was quiet and peaceful. It is just up the mountain from the busy and crowded Positano. Very easy to visit and explore Positano from there. The attention to all the small details made the place so cozy and relaxing. Genny welcomed us and was available at all times for any questions. He shared lots of great tips about the area and things to do. He even helped before our stay to set us up with a private transfer from Napels and back. It was so easy and convenient. The breakfast every morning was fresh and delicious! The place is very spacious and comfortable. The rooftop terrace was the best part. Amazing views and relaxing place to spend time. Highly recommend this property. The family is so welcoming and accommodating.

Great big apartment with everything you need. Genny went over and beyond to help us with rides, helped carry our luggage and made a fabulous breakfast! Best customer service we had our whole trip. I would highly recommend Villa Genny and Emily. It is in the hills so taxis or shuttle buses are required unless you don’t mind walking.

We loved our stay here - the home is really spacious and beautiful with fantastic views of the ocean which can be enjoyed from 2 balconies and a massive rooftop terrace. The town is small but nice and it is an easy walk downhill into Positano and a quick bus back up. The highlight of the stay was our host Genny! He was flexible, helpful with recommendations and so incredibly friendly. We were given some antipasti and homemade limoncello on arrival and were left ingredients from the garden to do some cooking too. A good breakfast was also provided every morning.

Everything was perfect.

We loved everything about this property! The hospitality and personalized service are first rate. The host, Gennaro made us feel so welcome and was extremely generous with his time. He was always available with recommendations for restaurants, shopping, etc., and made arrangements for the most memorable boat tour of the Amalfi coast. The villa is beautiful, with an amazing 360 view of the harbor and mountains from the rooftop terrace. Breakfast each morning was a real treat. Our stay at Villa Genny and Emily was the highlight of our Italian vacation and we recommend this property to anyone visiting Positano.

Nothing really. I guess it is a bit out of the way if you wanted to be in the heart of Positano, or near the beaches, bars and restaurants, but that was not an issue for us.

A beautiful, spacious apartment, spotlessly clean, well laid out, and with everything that we needed (and more) for our short break. The roof terrace is a lovely space with great views to the sea. Waking up for breakfast on the roof terrace was near perfect. Good wi-fi (although it drops off on the roof, and the further bedroom), and a TV with some international channels if the weather is poor. Our host, Genny was friendly, spoke good English, and very helpful, even getting us a lift in to town from his dad, so that we wouldn't miss our onward connection. Montepertuso is a small town, tucked above the tourist centre of Positano, but has a store that seems to sell everything that you might need, and a couple of restaurants. There are also some great walks from here - up to 'the hole', along the Path Of The Gods, or down the steep steps to Positano (but walking back up is not for the faint hearted - we got the bus). We would love to come back again for another stay and will seriously consider it when we are planning our next Italian holiday.

Genny’s hospitality was the best. He showed us were to do shopping, take a bus, go for a walk and even where buy good stuff. The place and the view was amazing, breakfast and coffee 10/10 and the best welcoming I have ever had. If you’re looking for a place where you can relax far from the city and have a break, don’t look further.

the only negative was the distance from the road to get to the home. although the hosts came and grabbed our luggage. and brought it to the car upon our departure. it’s very high up in the mountain. which is also why you get such a fabulous view from the villa. it’s still worth booking this villa. the views are fabulous.

everything was fabulous. starting from the moment I booked the hosts answered every question they assisted me in booking a driver, transfers from Naples, tour of coast , arranging a boat tour , and a cooking class. they treat you like family from the start to the finish. nicest people ever !!!!!

Nothing. This isn’t about the property itself but the road to Montepertuso has to be mentioned . The view is absolutely breathtaking as it is quite high up but it means driving up a very twisty narrow road with barely enough room for 1 not so compact car let alone 2.. and this was off season . I can’t imagine traffic both ways during peak season. But this would be the same wherever you stay in positano.

it was very clean, very comfortable with amazing views and Genno was such an accommodating host and super helpful ( carried our luggage ). The great water pressure and the wonderful shower gets a shout-out as it was blissful after traipsing on difficult cobblestones all around Pompei! Suggest you leave most of luggage at Naples Stazione when you pick up your very compact rental car . We were the last guests for the season. They actually close 1st week November as most restaurants and shops shut for winter but we booked 2 months in advance and we are grateful they accepted our booking as it was the best stay of our trip .

The host Genny immediately reached out as soon as we booked so communication was exceptional from the start. He provided valuable information about the area, transportation, hikes, restaurants etc. We got dropped off and he was there to greet us and helped us with the luggage. We also arrived a little before the place was available but they went above and beyond to make it happen so we could get settled in and explore. It was spacious with a beautiful view from two private balconies. Kitchen was handy to have for late night munchies. Breakfast was perfect; always had fruit, breads, juice and cappuccino. Genny was always reachable if we had questions or needed a hand with planning an excursion, car service etc. This is a quiet and charming place in a cute town that is close enough to Positano without the hustle and bustle of the crowds. It is about a 20-25 minute walk down stairs with plenty of photo shots along the way. We would be happy to stay again!
