“Awesome location, great rooms, big beds and great customer service.
The girl at the reception was very helpful in making booking for the Shiretako cruises.”
“- Spacious and comfortable room, though would have preferred higher floor for better view of the lake.
- The resort had many comfortable and private areas for sitting and relaxing, including a fireplace, music room, complimentary coffee and juices. The foot spa was amazing.
- The onsen was posh and private. Love the little outdoor pool.
- dinner and breakfast had good spreads”
“The location was about 20 min drive to main Abashiri city, a bit secluded but very nice resort.
Breakfast selection was ample with traditional Japanese hot pot, sashimi and sushi, with alternative western menu too.
Loved the laid-back vibe and resort like of the entire facility. Value for money with the ryokan stay along with breakfast and dinner included! It a nice retreat away in Abashiri, away from the main touristy areas of Biei and Furano.”
“Beautiful location and kind hosts. It is a bit of a walk from the station, but the location is beautiful, so it didn't bother me, and they offer to give you a ride to and from the station when you check-in/out if you need it. I was only able to stay one night when I was there, but would definetly try to stay for longer next time I'm in the area.”
“It might be a little hard to access by walking, but the location is really beautiful, so as long as you can plan around the bus schedules, I think it's really worth the effort (beware, Google Mpas doesn't seem to have the most up to date schedules, I'd suggest asking in Abashari's tourist office about them). The hosts were really friendly, and they made an effort to make conversation and suggestions about what to see in the area. They also offered a ride to Abashiri JR Station the day of my check-out, free of charge. The house interior is full of little figurines, pictures and paintings, and the pastures outside offer a great view, you really feel surrounded by nature. I'm really glad I was able to spend a couple of days here :)”
