  “Everything! The most loveliest hosts, felt really like spending the stay in their family. Since vegan dinner options were rare in Iiyama, the host lady prepared a vegan vegetable stew and tofu as a side dish just for me and we had dinner together at their family kitchen table. ♡ Though communicating in English was a bit difficult, the 3 of them made an immense effort to communicate with me via Google translate - loved and enjoyed learning more about Iiyama, their life and Japanese culture so much! Also, met their lovely daughter Natsumi again by accident in Nozawa at Haus St. Anton a few days later which was lovely! :) Thank you for everything!!!”

  “You need a car to visit, it’s in a lovely rural location. The house is huge, great open communal area and kitchen. The fire is great to sit around in the evening and a very relaxed atmosphere. (Extended an extra 2 nights as felt so relaxed and at home here)”
