    “What a little gem of a hotel right on the lake shore. The photo they use is exactly the view from our bedroom - although we didn't see completely to the top of Mt Fuji we saw nearly all of it. Had a private onsen (hot spa bath) room which was welcome at the end of a long drive. Host and owner was super helpful and very friendly. An enormous dinner and breakfast were included in the price of the room. Tasty and imaginative food and friendly service.”

    “This luxurious Ryokan was the perfect getaway from busy Tokyo and an excellent spa-retreat after a long hike in one. The staff spoke good English and was very helpful. We would highly recommend booking a private dinner in your room for at least one night where you'll get overwhelmed by the enormous diversity of the Japanese cuisine. We booked a private Onsen for 1 hour where we could catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji, but the public Onsen and rooftop footbath are already well worth this Ryokan experience.”
