“Amazing room, super clean and brand new. It is very spacious compared to other places I stayed in Kyoto. Location is my favourite in town - it's very close to some main landmarks, gardens, shopping, restaurants, next door to family mart and 5min walk to the metro/train station. Highly recommend!”

“It was in a great location, especially if you come by car. You're close to a lot of great things and have great bus connection for things a little bit further away. The little garden is a nice addition to wake up to and you can do your laundry if you have a longer stay.”

“New modern building in a great location. Above a convenience store, 2mins walk to a lovely little cafe, and 3mins to some of the beautiful Gion streets. Only 5 mins to the trains busses. Great bathroom & very efficient washing machine.”

“Me and my friends stayed at Minn Gion for two nights. We had a great room with two single beds and a sleeper sofa. The bathroom and kitchen amenities were great. We appreciated the laundry facilities as well. We loved the cleanliness and especially the location. Lots of restaurants, cafes and public transport options are in walking distance. Can highly recommend this stay to future guests.”

“The hosts Linda and Lee were so nice and welcoming they took us on a driving tour and we were given a collection of Lee’s photography! The location is also convenient with lots to do around. I would love to stay again when we come to Kyoto again :)”

“Everything! The reception staff welcomed us warmly, we also reserved japanese breakfast and we’re muslims so they were very cooperative and they had the best japanese breakfast we had in japan. The location is perfect as it is a walking distance from higashiyama. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone coming to kyoto”
