“Relaxation heaven. You get a private bath made up for you at a chosen time. They have a beautiful garden with ducks and a cute dog. Island vibes with beautiful natural sounds all around. Massage chair, shakti mats. This owner had really thought about things! I feel restored!”
“A laid-back and quiet place with everything we needed. The room was comfortable with nice thick futons and everything was very clean. No meals provided at Fukurou but there was a microwave available, and a kettle provided in the room. A taxi from Kushimoto station cost 2000 yen. There's a bus service but a limited timetable, so make sure to check the times. We enjoyed being out in the backblocks and walking into Kushimoto. We did a snorkelling tour with ARK diving, which was excellent.”

The house is lovely - staying here is a beautiful way to experience modern Japanese living.
