Good wifi, comfy PJs, a lot of towels.
The place was ok, I was disappointed to find out we do not have a room with lake view (I didn't actually think there were different rooms).
Other than the place had everything we needed, it is in a quiet location, be aware that there are almost no cafes or restaurants open after 5pm.
Also, the weather was surprisingly cold when we came to Hakone and it took a long while to properly heat up the apartment, the floor can get pretty cold, too.”
“We had a small misunderstanding with the owner, but it was resolved in a satisfactory way. Motohakone is gorgeous with the lake and mountains, but it was a bit sleepy town in a May when we were visiting. We saw a lot of closed restaurants, not sure whether it was a seasonal thing or more general phenomenon.”
