  “The hotel is beautiful, the design outstanding. The room was overlooking scenic beach. Waking up to the view of beach was priceless. Breakfast was delicious, one day it was traditional Japanese , the other it was a bit more Western. Location was a bit remote but it isn't a big problem if you have a car.”

  “Everything! The house is beautiful, the village and the beach is amazing and Amami is heavenly. The house has everything you need and it’s very comfortable. Having the windows open at night to let in the fresh air and the sound of all the animals was great! We were surprised there wasn’t a single insect in the house, despite Amami’s tropical climate. The coral reefs are pretty far off shore at Kuninao beach, but we found that they were a bit closer at the southernmost end of the beach, near the cliffs. We were even visited by a sea turtle out there! The beach is at its best at sundown, but when it gets dark the hermit crabs become active, and it’s so much fun watching these little guys struggling with their oversized homes There’s a great lunch place nearby too, Bee lunch, with tasty food and friendly chicken :)”

  “Absolutely amazing location where you could see the waves of the sea from the back garden. Really quiet and large space. Really clean. Had everything we needed, oil, salt and all necessities in the kitchen. Beautiful and relaxing place to chill out.”
