  “Wonderful location, wonderful staff and wonderful hotel overall. The moment you arrive you feel welcomed, the lobby gives the vibes of a 5 stars hotel. Its crazy that the hotel is located exactly at the train station (makes everything easier) and the building is so big that if you get a room on a high floor, you have wonderful mountain views. I really loved the staff, specially a receptionist that helped us with a dining reservation. Unfortunately I forgot his name, but he made our stay beyond special. THANK YOU. It was overall such a nice stay, I loved Yamagata and its sorroundings. The staff seems to be professionally trained and they can also speak good english. They have many type of rooms, we had the classic double room and even though it was not modern, we had a LOT of space and everyday cleaning/water. If I ever come to Yamagata again I would definetly stay here and also recommend it to others. I even wish we stayed here longer!”
