The hotel was kind enough to upgrade us from a room with Mountain View to one facing the ocean. The staff were kind and eager to help and were also flexible enough to let us bring our own dinner and eat at their premises.

The restaurant/cafe only had ice cream and no other food in the day available but maybe because oug of season. You had to reserve for dinner too so needed to be organised and know what you were doing ahead. Nothing else wrong as it was a lovely place to stay. Thanks so much.

Our room was fabulous. The bath in the window overlooking the sea and sunset was amazing. The room was massive with his and her sinks and a fantastic view. The pool was great too with floats and the bar next to it. Beautifully kept gardens with flowers. It was right on the sea front which was ideal but very windy. Staff were so helpful and friendly and tried really hard to help translate things, book trips and taxis for us. We were able to higher bikes from reception and explore the town and markets about 15 mins cycle away.

There was no beach at all. Room had an odor of urine.

Liked the breakfast buffet, the pool was nice, the staff were friendly and accommodating - always willing to help and always were greeting us, and hotel location was close to town. The staff made our stay wonderful experience thank you!!

Perhaps it’s difficult to do for this kind of small hotel but since it’s located in the resort area (not in the city centre), it should better to have more options for dinner and lunch. Just only course menu is available for dinner. They sell some snacks and drinks at their shop but if they could serve some foods, even some simple snacks like fried potatoes, pizza, hotdog, edamame, onigiri and some drinks at the restaurant next to the pool, we could enjoy the time in the hotel even when the weather was not good. Driving 5-10 minutes to eat something outside all the time was not so good experience. We stayed in the Mountain View room. Since it’s located next to the main road, we heard the car sounds all the time.

Polite and professional staff, clean room, pool with some balloons, big bath with beautiful scenery, enough space for parking. I highly recommend to take a bath during sunset time. Overall, it’s value for money!

Although it’s facing the sea, it’s not a place you can swim. Quite an industrialised area having been built up with various hotels. Not much around here. Tattoos not allowed in the onsen which seems quite backward. Strange policy around having the room cleaned. Rewards are offered if you choose not to avail of cleaning but there are no recycling bins in the public areas to get rid of rubbish so the room needs to be tidied daily. Was a bit stressful having to choose which days we wanted cleaning right after arriving at check in. As always in Japan, less single use plastic would be great to see. Also I think this resort really misses a trick by not having the bar open throughout the day. It would be lovely to sit out on the decking in the evening if there was a bar and a bit of atmosphere. No vegetarian options in the restaurant either which had to be prebooked before arrival.

Rooms in the annex were very nice. Although there seemed to be some mould or dirt on the walls and ceiling. Nice big window looking out at the sea. Water refill station was a great option instead of plastic bottles.

The personnel speaks almost no English, even the reception desk, which makes it very hard to communicate and get any questions answered.

I didn’t say I was vegetarian as I was a solo traveler and didn’t want to make a nuisance but the menu was actually pre decided and no veggie options So it would be nice if they had some flexibility

Dinner is just so-so and it will cost some money to go to the roof to watch the stars. Note that you can see starts from the terrasse but lights from the hotel will have some impacts.

Breakfast is superb. And the whole hotel has a wonderful sea view and a beautiful pool. The staffs there are very friendly and would like to tell you about good places to go. The sofa in the room is also very comfortable and feeling so good just sitting there and watching the sea.

Balcony was very slippery. I got hurt very badly when I slipped and bumped into balcony railing.

View from hotel is really awesome. You can watch beautiful sunset , do water activities and relax in infinity pool.

No beach and also far from beach you can actually swim. Only restaurant available for dinner was a la carte and quite expensive pricy (depending on your budget of course) with reservation only.

Hotel was nice, breakfast was buffet with several options. Room was comfortable. I appreciated a lot the community bath, was very relaxing. We could rent bicycles and towels for the pool (bedroom towels not allowed). Bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Small restaurant/truck food less than 5 mins walk from the restaurant. Small gift shop with also drinks and snacks.

Very few bus connections for getting around, few food shops in vicinity, Little English spoken, and not much sense of humor. ;) That said, we enjoyed our stay.

Loved the view of the pool against the sea, the sky on the west coast, sunsets, and paddleboarding every day. Also enjoyed the public outdoor bath on 3rd floor, and the pool! Staff were polite, but very little English spoken. Nice to have bicycle access. Also enjoyed the hammocks!

At this level of the hotel, the amenities are very very poor quality. Shampoo and conditioner in the room and public bath were absolutely not good for any type of hair! My advise for those who are staying - take your own shampoo!!!

It would be nice to have more eating options. Breakfast is mostly Japanese food, Western items such as French toast, omelettes, waffles, fruit yoghurts, and more variety of fuit would be nice.

My room had a lovely ocean view which was very nice. Unfortunately, swimming at the beach was not allowed. I was unaware of this restriction when making reservations. Not having a car made moving around difficult. The hotel and garden are spacious and well-kept. The pool is very nice. The administrative staff was very helpful in modifying my stay due to the arrival of a typhoon.
