How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Limited choice at the bar as there was not much crowd.
Good location not far from the crowded and loud streets of Namba and Dotonbori main streets. Kitchenette was definitely a plus for us and launderette too!

The location is excellent very close to all attractions and walkable distance to train stations. The room are very clean and theres laundry machines in the hotel very convenient. Overall very satisfactied and will definitely stay here again.

My little baby just needed some oats in the morning. We had the oats just needed a little bit of hot milk We were politely declined and they said to go to the convenient store to buy milk and make it Considering the free tea / coffee and hot milk going in there it would have been nice to be more accommodating

This is a very classy place to stay. They upgraded our room without us even asking. The staff are super attentive to everything you need. Super clean with a private kitchen with all the amenities you could need, and more! A great location in Namba that is just outside all the party action that is Osaka.

The bathroom curtains smell and the whole bathroom smelled unclean because of them. Nonetheless, very clean room and bathroom.

It’s in a relatively grungy area of Osaka but then again close to the ‘eat streets’ of Donburi and a more authentic Japanese experience.
Laundry room, guest lounge with kitchen and children’s playroom all very welcome in the middle of our trip. Very cool design too.

There wasn’t a bellhop or anyone to help with getting a lot of luggage up to your room.
Apartment-style room was great, though there were only two of each kitchen item (forks, plates, bowls, mugs, etc). Washer in-room was also key. The staff made up the sofa intro a bed, and it was a full sized twin once it was set up properly. Really nice to have door that closed off one bedroom from the living room.

Good location, 10 min from Namba station with many restaurants to choose from. Beautiful building, big modern, nicely decorated rooms. Comfortable beds, the best we had in Japan. Staff at the reception was very friendly and spoke good English.

Wish the toilet was separated from the bath.
The staff is amazing. There was a bit of mix up with our reservation and the staff were very accommodating and were very apologetic. Excellent service. Breakfast is great. Rooms are spacious

Laundry a bit expensive compared to other hotels we stayed in.
Beautiful spacious rooms, firm comfortable beds. Stunning building Wonderful, warm checkin staff, who upgraded us to premium room. Convenient spot, easy walk to station and busy tourist area. Residents lounge perfect for meeting with travelling friends. We slept so well!

Our one bedroom had everything we needed. Loads of space, kitchen, bathtub, sofa, and double blinds blocked out all light from the beautiful arch windows, allowing my son to sleep much longer. The playroom, laundromat, and water facilities were a plus. It was close to the train station and food hub. All convenience stores are located within 1 minute walk.

Only improvement would be to install smart TV so that people can cast or watch Netflix.
Favourite hotel of my whole trip in Japan. Really well located in Namba close to Dotonburi and a nice stroll to Shinsaibashi too. Namba station being close links you to places like Umeda too. The beds were amazing and so were the facilities like the gym, laundry etc. Service is great and staff are friendly too. The rooms are the highlight being huge rooms with space to move which was a big change to the spaces in Kyoto and Tokyo.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. Fantastic room, lovely staff, a great laundry facility and perfect location for us. The Namba station is really handy to get around and the local area was great for what we needed
