Room was very small for me and price was expensive for the time period I stayed for.

Rooms were clean and functioning, staff was extremely kind and helpful, solved some issues I had.

The towels for exchange on the second day was not even dried. The bath holder is not stable which makes it hard to enjoy highest water pressure. Customers very loud in the corridor in midnight and nobody stopped them

The second time I have stayed here for the MotoGP at Motegi weekend. Prices in Mito spike, therefore my low ‘value’ score. Basic and clean rooms, with blockout window shutters, polite staff, and great location in Mito. Not the finest hotel, but by no means the worst. A pleasant place to sleep!

Hallways to the rooms looked very grubby... Very marked old carpet.. Was a let down for an otherwise nice looking hotel.

The staff were extremely kind and helpful even with the language barrier. The Location was perfect with the station being, at most, a 5 minute walk. Excellent area with the river being close by. All in all, very nice experience :)

The aircon is too weak.

I really like the location of the hotel. The staffs are nice and approachable but my only complaint is the aircon we stayed for 2 days but the air conditioner is so low so we woke up at midnight with a lot of sweat. 😅

The carpet and walls in the hallway leading to our room were badly stained and scuffed up, which had us worried about the condition of our room, but thankfully it was fine. There was an unpleasant musty odor in the room when we first entered but luckily it dissipated after turning on the AC and opening the window.

The room was clean and spacious enough and the bed was wide and comfortable, if not a bit springy. The hotel offered plenty of amenities and even had a coffee machine in the lobby. The microwave in the hall near our room as well as the washing machine were both useful and appreciated.

The bathroom was relatively small and depending on the direction of the room, there is a relatively busy road in front of the hotel.

Affordable, quick check in and very friendly staff. Documents are provided in English as well. Shampoo, soap, conditioner and a toothbrush were provided and the room was clean. Very suitable for short business travels.

Unfortunately, the only rooms available on Booking.com were smoking rooms so it did smell (I left the window open and quickly became accustomed to it). Additionally, Booking.com did advertise a river view which I did not have. The TV wasn't working when I arrived but after mentioning it to the reception staff they immediately fixed it.

Having freshly arrived in Japan merely days previously, the hotel was incredibly easy to get to (despite the strong wind on my arrival!), being an easy few blocks from the station, and it's location proved convenient throughout my stay. Once there I was greeted by an incredibly friendly and generous member of hotel staff who not only quickly checked me in but, at my requesting, also helped to plan almost my entire weekend of sightseeing - his enthusiasm to assist overcame our great language barrier. His recommendations of visits and eateries were invaluable and my trip would have been far inferior (more expensive, less authentic, less rich) had it not been for him - i am incredibly grateful for the timehe gave to me. I really felt as though the staff would do whatever they could to ensure my stay was as good as could be. Also, the hotel had bikes to rent which made the local area so much more accessible and getting about more affordable and stressfree (even though the bike definitely wasn't made for someone 194cm tall!) - for exanple, it was quicker and cheaper to cycle to Hitachi Seaside Park than to take the buses there.

Nothing, really.

The room was very clean and the staff were very polite. Though we speak only beginner japanese, they carefully explained everything to us in the simplest japanese as possible and used a lot of gestures. They were also verh responsive to email requests before our stay.

Weird policies that included those staying longer - the written policy is that no one is allowed to stay in their room from 10am, but It doesn’t state when we can come back. I came back at 1:30pm, but they were still cleaning, so I dropped off the bag I had in my room and quickly left.
