It took me about 7 minutes from the station. You have to be ready if you have many luggages.

The room was clean and the bath spa was excellent. they provided free ice cream bar afterwards the bath time. Their breakfast was super good.

The onset was crowded - this was a surprise as generally, my experience has not been that. This is NOT a complaint - merely an observation.

The staff are lovely - they kept 2 x bags will I travelled with my daughter - this was lovely and much appreciated

Room TV should be upgraded to smart model to allow guest to remote display smart phones or PCs. Or provide an optional HDMI port. Drier should be free since in most cases the guest only use it for 20min. And coin is quite inconvenient for guests. Provide a coin exchange machine or accept credit card at 2F will be better for international guests.

The room is small but we are ok with the compact style of room in Japan regions.

Whenever we visit Japan, we will try our best to book a night with Dormy Inn cause we know that this hotel has great standard and always deliver. And they never disappoint us, including this visit. We love the hotel's design, the hot spring, their soba noodles, delicious and mouth watering breakfast and the high standard of customer services. Tips: 1. We landed at Chubu Centrair intl. airport on 9am JST and used Meitetsu Limited Express (1250yen for reserved and 890 yen for partially/none reserved seat) to reach Nagoya main Station in less than 40 minutes. We used the subway (Higashiyama line) to Fushimi station (closer to the hotel, or you can stop at Sakae station, a lil further from the hotel). Drop off our luggage and start our day tour at Nagoya. 2. There is a great hot spring service offered by the hotel, followed by free ice cream, free soba noodles (From 9pm to 11pm), and 1000+ comic books (in Japanese of course) for you to enjoy your relaxing day after the Nagoya day tour. Excellent service!

Great location, conveniently close to subway station at end of underground shopping strip. Staff let us drop off luggage early and put our luggage in our room when able until we came back to officially check in.

This is more of a nitpick than anything, but the indoor bath kind of left a feeling of a slippery layer on the skin, whereas the outdoor bath left the skin feeling pretty dried up.

Room was comfortable and fairly well spaced. We could open up a suitcase to pack and unpack things without too much difficulty. The separation of space between the entrance area and the bedroom area was nice and gave us some space outside of the bedroom to hold our luggage. There are a good number of freebies you would get for staying here: * Hygiene tools like toothbrushes, combs, etc. * A hot spring with indoor, outdoor baths and a sauna * Free post bath refreshments * Free ramen from 9:30pm to 11:00pm If you don't need an elevator, getting here by transit is very convenient, and mostly under cover. Just get off at Fushimi Station, go through the Fushimi underground street on the east side, and pop out at Exit E - Dormy is just across the street. The location is a short walk away from Sakae, with lots of food options.

there is no elevator at the metro exit which is closest to the hotel.

three free laundry machines are placed inside the female shower room right next to the hot spring, very convenient to use and there is no need to queue for long time like in other hotels.

For some reason, prices in Nagoya were all very high the weekend we stayed there (perhaps because of cherry blossom festival), so this was quite expensive compared to the rest of our trip.

Great location right across from subway stop that's one stop from the main train station. It has the most lovely public bath I've ever used in Japan, complete with a nice outdoor bath. The staff was the absolute most helpful we had on our entire trip and that's out of a bunch of helpful staffs. They went above and beyond and are why I rated this a 10.

The motion sensing light in the entrance way was very poorly designed as it would go on at full brightness in the middle of the night if anyone got up to use the toilet. I had to tape over it to disable the sensor since there was no other way to stop it. The ceiling near the sink and there shower vent were dirty. The air conditioning could not adequately cool the room and the hotel didn’t have any lighter comforter available for the bed so we had to get two small rough wool blankets from them instead.

Location was good. Onsen was nice and the free ice cream and noodles were a nice amenity. The layout of the room was mostly a good use of space.
