Sometimes they run out of hot water and I had to shower with cold water but I didn't mind too much since it was really hot outside.

Really good location, close to the beach and with some restaurants quite close to it. You get what you pay for, the place is really cheap and to be honest I think it's more than fair for the price that you pay.

Apart from the room, the rest of the hostel is pretty shabbily maintained. The wooden floor in the open air space that runs through the hotel is of poor quality, (even some nail heads stick through the wood in places!) The only positive thing I can say of the male shower room is that when the shower did work, the controls worked fine and the pressure was extremely good. Other than that, one of the two shower room's upper handle to hold the shower head in place was completely broken and the locks on the inner doors to the showers was broken also. The toilet area was dirty, and the kitchen area while clean, had little utensils to actually cook with. Overalls, it's overpriced for what it is, especially during peak season. It only gets a 6 due to the great room and the free bike rental service.

I actually stayed for 17 nights here! I just booked it all in different segments which is why I'm only reviewing for two nights here. I stayed here for this long because a few of my friends were staying here as well and we couldn't find a hostel that was cheaper/better deal. I also stayed here for this long because I really liked my room. The private room to myself was compact yet cosy, having everything I wanted with a comfy bed, a bench/rack to store my stuff, TV, Fridge and excellent air conditioning. The air conditioning was brilliant to keep me cool and I slept great. I really enjoyed the fact that theyhad multiple bikes of which you could choose and then rent for free, a very lovely extra.

It's a cheap place, perfect for a quick stay if you don't want to spend too much, and the location is also quite convenient if you hanging around Chatan

My room was clean and the bed was decently comfortable. The rooms themselves feel like sheds which wasn't too inviting but other factors made up for it.

The free bike rental and how close the resort was to the beach, the American village and nice restaurants was fantastic. The AC and laundry facilities were great too.

Super small room, ended up getting sick there and there was hardly any ventilation besides a tiny window. Parking was hard to come by and not very secure. Don’t recommend

Basically everything, some mold issues, the whole place is falling apart, holes in the shower room walls patched with random plastic, all in all poorly maintaned
