Everything. The owner is so friendly and helpful. It’s a typical Japanese house, you can enjoy an amazing view on Mount Fuji. The beds are comfortable, it’s very very clean. You can find walkable distance a nice coffee and restaurant. You can take the green line bus , which is helpful to go around the lake.

Really loved the property so clean and beautifu true to pictures.lt has a scenic view of Mt Fuji and can take a nice morning and evening walks.It has all the basic facilities and the host is a very friendly and helpful in guiding on how to reach the sightseeing spots.He was kind enought to pick us up and drop me from the station

Lovely place, japanese style home, very clean and in a good day you can eat or just sit and relax in the living room with Fujisan view. Mr Michi was a great owner and host, pickup and send guest whenever needed. Walking distance to lake kawaguchi near yagizaki park which has the best view of fujisan view and cherry blossom. Definitely will come again

This is so much more than a hostel, it’s so clean and comfortable and the facilities are brilliant. Our host was so helpful and even picked us up and dropped us off to the station. There are amazing Fuji views from the shared area and lots of places within walking distance to explore. We loved everything about our stay here!

Nothing as such. Even though the location is slightly far from the station (2 kms. Approx), the host came to pick me up and dropped me as well (he does it for all).

Owner-san was amazing! He had local knowledge and he freely picked me up and dropped me off at the station. He also reserved a restaurant for us and gave us sightseeing recommendations. The facilities were good and the lounge was amazing. If I ever come back, which is unlikely, I will come back to this hostel.

Surrounded by residential areas, it's very quiet at night.

This is a wonderful hotel with a unique decor style. It features a courtyard where, on clear days, you can enjoy views of Mount Fuji while sitting by the window or strolling in the yard. It takes about half an hour to walk to the bridge from the hotel, where you can also see the hexagonal pavilion in the lake. The accommodation is also very clean with a great atmosphere.

I liked everything. So much that I decided to stay tonight as well. Everything is perfect, and the owner is so nice!! He picked me up at the train station and is keen to give me any advice about the restaurants and places to visit. Plus, you have an amazing view on the Mt Fuji.

Location was a little out of the way. The green bus goes there but it only comes every 1 hour. Other than that, it was good.

Amazing view from the room. Had to wait for clear sunny days to enjoy the view. The owner is a very kind & helpful host with lots of good information to give. Accidentally left something in the room & the owner helped us retrieve it. Recommend to book a room with fuji view so you can watch the sunrise.

Staying here was one of the best parts of my trip to Mount Fuji! It’s a beautiful and comfortable home, with an unbelievable view to Mount Fuji in the backyard! Michikusa san is one of the most welcoming, sweet and funniest person I’ve ever met, who made me feel like home. He can pick you up and drop you off at kawaguchiko station. I met incredible people who were staying there as well. I recommend this place 100%! A little tip: the closer konbini it’s a little far from there, so I recommend to buy whatever you want before going :)

The futon mattresses were quite thin, which made sleeping a little uncomfortable

Fantastic place to stay at for anyone. The room we had was lovely and he view in the morning was stunning. On top of that the owner is extremely friendly from giving recommendations to taking us to the train station when we left. The kitchen and common rooms are great as well and we had a nice time chatting with others

Delightful stay with the kindest host. Lovely, quiet location within a quick walk’s way from the lake. We stayed in a traditional room (tatami mats and futons) with a mountain view and it was perfect.

Please consider the timing we went there as it started to snow and was freezing outside. It got cold pretty easily inside due to poor isolation of the house. Therefore we had to keep the heater running through the nights and the bathrooms were pretty cold. The location is not central or close to the train station. Also I would not recommend to walk from the train station (we did) as it is along the main road with barely any sidewalks. Said that - it felt wonderful real and not too touristy.

The owner is the sweetest guy and tried everything to make us feel comfortable. He also offered to fetch us from the train station. When I told him that I freeze easily I got a lot of extra blankets 😊 The house is wonderful and feels very typical japanese. The overall feeling in this property is welcoming and engaging to connect - with travelers from abroad and Japan.

Friendliest owner you can imagine. He picks you up at the station, so you don’t have to worry how to get there. He tries to make everyone feel at home and has tons of suggestions for activities or restaurants and even helps you plan your trips! Hostel was super comfortable and totally clean
