How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Overall a great hotel. Great location! Shower and beds deserve special mention. Would definitely stay again.

I wish the hotel offered body lotion as one of their amenities. I also hope they offered more breakfast options and heavier meals. It would be great if they offered a Japanese dinner.
The breakfast was nice. Our room, shower, and other facilities were very clean. The hotel was highly accessible and was just a few steps away from Hommachi Station and a Family Mart. The neighborhood was very quiet at night. Also, the lobby was always fragrant and clean. Their staff can speak English and were very helpful. They informed us about the restaurants nearby since we were looking for a place to eat that night. They had a money changer too at the lobby which was very convenient since there was no other money changer nearby. The exchange rate was all right. Overall, I had a great experience. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. 😊

The ladies at the reception went above and beyond to help me find a medical clinic. They were so thorough with the instructions, they printed a map with all the information I needed. So responsive and kind.

A little far from the tourist attraction but near the train station
Very clean hotel. Convenience and modern facilities (bathroom bidet and shower). Small room but because of the modernized facility it makes the room so comfortable.

Unfortunately while most of the staff were nice some were a bit aggressive and rude. Also we didn’t order the breakfast through booking and after trying it one morning, although it was decent - we thought it’s best to eat outside.
Great hotel with good location 5 min from hommachi station, also many restaurants nearby. The bed was comfortable and the room was big which is hard to get by in Japan, the shower was great and overall the hotel gave us a premium feeling.

The layout of my room was a bit odd as the bed was against the window on one side.
Room was clean and quiet. Sound insulation seemed very good. 2 bottles of water daily and also a water/soda fountain in the lobby.

Wonderful hotel. We’re a family of four and we stayed three nights in two rooms: a comfort double and a twin. Great location, spacious and well organised rooms, fabulous shower, friendly staff. 2 stops on the metro from Umeda and 2 from Namba if I’m not mistaken. We really liked to visit Dotonbori but were glad we didn’t stay there.

Location is good but not quite where you'ld optimally want to be.
Very nice modern and new-looking hotel, with very helpful and obliging reception staff. Even though we only stayed 1 night, the staff were brilliant with our every request... Mainly us faffing on with luggage which they kindly stored for us after checkout ahead of our flight!

Room sizes were much larger than equivalent 3 star hotels in Japan. Although prices are closer to 4 star hotel anyway.

Great location - could easily walk down to Dotonburi. The room itself was spacious with good amenities. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in.

If there was more space to lay out or put away / hang up clothes, that would have been icing on the cake!
The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient during our nine day stay, helping us with communicating with a restaurant and arranging luggage transfer to Tokyo. The rooms were clean and relatively spacious with a great shower and layout that optimized the small space. The laundry room was useful to keep packing light and the nearby restaurants, subway line and stores were quick and easy to walk to. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfectly nice. not luxurious, but just what we needed. Osaka is a wonderful city!

if think of anything, the pillows were not comfortable.
The bed was super comfortable. we enjoyed the breakfast which was partially ordered and part buffet. The location is one subway stop from the busy Dontonburi area but quiet where it is located. Subway access was close. Room is very modern and has many amenities.We had plenty of charging outlets and quality hair products to use!

There was only one outlet for the coffee and tea appliances, which was kind of bothersome when my boyfriend wanted coffee and I wanted tea, so we had to take turns. It's a small thing, but I wish we had more options for an evening light, sort of like the hanging lamp in the corner of the room which could only be turned on along with the bright art lighting.
We stayed here for a week, without breakfast. The room and the bathroom was really spacious, with plenty of places to relax. The Hommachi station is very close by, and there is also a world-class bakery and a beautiful park a few minutes away. It was nice to be able to get your room cleaned up without changing the sheets and the pyjamas.
