My room smelt a little bit :(

The room was a good size, facilities were very clean and staff and amenities were both excellent.

Not a "dislike" but I feel the bathroom is really small and hot, Tokyo is getting hotter in May so I bring my own mini fan into the bathroom.

It takes 10min walk from Minami-Senju JR station but the bus station is right in front of the hotel, so generally this location meets my expectation. I work on my computer on 1st floor and nothing bothers me, feel so relaxed.

Very good localisation and price, not next to the station, but very close and there is bus stop next to the hotel. If you like quiet places, you will like Asakusa

I could hear some noise coming through the window, but I never had a problem to fall asleep and I am a light sleeper. There was some dust in the room, but nothing to make me feel uncomfortable.

Great base for exploring east Tokyo. The stuff was very friendly and they spoke English really well. You have a Lawson next to the Hotel, good for some quick, tasty breakfast. Eventough there were only 2 showers on my floor I never had to wait to take a shower.

One night was a heavy fight in the hall on my floor, was very noise. But next day I saw each person talking with the staff about what happened. When I came back at night, the conflicted man was not there. (Which is nice) may be call cops immediately? It's on the corner of the next street? Other one, the personal asked me if I can wake up a drunk man in the bathroom. (Cuz I'm male and she cannot go there) after what happened in my floor I rather the staff do it so. May be all the problems can be avoid if you ban to drink alcohol at all floors....

Excluding the uncomfortable moments, was a good place that I will going back again. Just I will reduce the contact with other persons at minimum in other to avoid any possible conflict to any crazy/drunk person.

Little bit a walk from the station but the bus stops right in front of the hotel so its really nice. If you want explore Ueno, Arakawa, Skytree,Senso Ji its a great place to stay. The common places were clean and the staff was also really nice. Also the view from the 10th floor is amazing during night(smoking area), seeing the Skytree light up and the whole city is amazing.

I can’t think of anything. I mean yes, it’s not a 5-star hotel, and the wallpaper looks a bit worn out in places, maybe could be spruced up a little bit, but other than that thank you for a nice stay)

The room is exactly what you see on the photos, so, basically you get exactly what you saw on the pictures and paid for :) Japanese garden downstairs looks nice. Also it is convenient that there is an elevator. The staff was very nice, and people who stayed there were nice as well, I even talked to some of them :) I also slept well as the bed is pretty comfortable too.

There’s not many showers and toilets, so there could be a bit of a wait in the mornings, but it wasn’t an issue because you don’t have to wait too long between the facilities in each floor (toilets and showers on floors 2,6 and 10). It’s about a 15 minute walk from the nearest station, so the location isn’t perfect, but still perfectly manageable.

Good price, perfect for solo travellers. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but there were plenty of shelves for storage. It’s great if you’re looking for a place just to sleep after a day of sightseeing. Lawson right next door and a bus stop going to Asakusa, Ueno and further right on the front door.

The windows are a bit tricky to open and close and there's no closed storage space in the rooms. The location was also further out than I thought, it's very much a residential area and a bit of a trek from the train station with suitcases. No major issues just things to keep in mind!

This was my first time staying in accommodation with shared bathroom and shower facilities, so I was really pleased to find them very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was at the end of the hall and had two cubicles with a sink, and a seperate 'washroom' for brushing teeth, drying hair etc. The showers were on another floor, seperated into mens and womens but there are individual cubicles in each so you should be fine if you are NB or just self-conscious. The cubicles are quite spacious, and also include a private dressing area. They give you toiletries, towels and robes. We stayed in a twin room, the beds were very comfortable with traditional looking covers. There's no wardrobe, just a railing for clothes but that was fine for us. There was also a large desk and mirror for getting ready and storing our suitcases under, and there's a mini fridge if you want to keep some snacks in the room. The staff were really nice and helpful with very good English. I was expecting this place to be a bit more self-service orientated, so it was nice that the front desk team gave us detailed information on check-in and made sure we were happy. We had a very short stay here and spent most of our time in the city, only coming back to sleep. However, I imagine if you spent more time in the hotel it could be a nice place to hang out, there were always plenty of friendly people and although it was very quiet it had a nice relaxing and fun atmosphere.
