Ito itself is a secluded place so it took us a good amount of time for us to reach. So if you plan on coming here make sure the transport is sorted so you don't waste time in reaching Ito.

The place was nice. The view of Ito orange beach outside the window was beautiful. Big rooms and washrooms attached. You get to experience japanese style rooms at this price which is good. Metro station and 7 eleven are closeby.

They don’t allow tattoos in the public onsens. The hallways and rooms look quite dated and shabby (rooms were definitely nicer), but they both smelt quite a bit like cigarette smoke. In particular the bathroom in our room was not very good, it smelt very musty, and the showerhead was quite clogged. But it’s a bath kind of place so 🤷

The staff were really lovely and helpful. The public and private onsen facilities were absolutely fantastic. They have a games centre downstairs which was fun. Love that they provide yukata to wear around the hotel + town

The accommodation room is very large. Most importantly, seeing the beautiful sea view both in the morning and in the evening makes me not want to go out for a walk anywhere.

Kameya was a charming old school seaside hotel with 4 onsens available., 1 in basement and 1 on top floor with views, male and female alternating hours and 2 private roof top spa with view over the sea. The room was spacious and the beach is across the road, Ito is great to explore and we had a number of day trips to other parts of the Izu peninsula. No bustling crowds and amazing scenery.

It’s a bit pricy for the quality.

The staff was very lovely, and it felt like a family owned place. The private onsen is amazing, as well as of the view.

The first and only accommodation through my 3 week trip that would not allow an earlier check in even though it was the most expensive accommodation compared to my 5 other places i stayed at so far. Guess i expected too much. The place felt deserted and not looked after. Throughout my stay of 2 nights, i came across maybe 5 people in total who were staying there. Private open air Onsen was very expensive in my opinion. As mentioned earlier, the accommodation was more expensive than most places i stayed so you would expect some of that to be incorporated towards the onsen fees to make it cheaper. The baths were also closed from 930am to 1pm for cleaning which i thought was a very unusual and long time to be closed. No microwave, no cooking facilities, no in room shower. A very holiday oriented type accommodation BUT the beach was deserted, compared to the photos on the site. I went at peak summer so I expected a bit more of a crowd. There was nothing and i mean nothing to do in terms of close proximity apart from the beach.

The hotel was located right on the beach front and also not too far from the train station. Was given a room with a view of the water even though i didn't pay for a room with a view.

The location was really nice! The sea is close, and we could easily reach all the wanted locations. The seashore was also visible from the window which was fantastic! Overall, we all really liked our journey.

I stayed in the room no.315 there have no toilet in the room and 3F have to go to 1F and only 1 each for man and woman ! not enough at all.

The washlet was not working properly and it took a while to get used to its behavior. The water pressure was too weak to take a proper shower. The bath area had some mold on the door opening surface. The room door was difficult to close, but you can get used to it after one or two tries.

The location right in front of the beach and just 5 minutes away from the station. The staff is really friendly and they are eager to help and make you feel comfortable. The room size is perfect, even too perfect at moments. The sea view is beautiful. The open bath was available for rent and it was good to relax.

It's a bit older in style, fairly basic furnishings. Basic onsen.

Came here for the Summer Fireworks. The view was spectacular from the top. Location is right in front of the beach. Very friendly staff.
