Good location and not far from the center of Kusatsu Yubatake. They have private onsen for each person however the water temperature is really hot.

Located a 1 min walk to futabaya and a 3 minute walk from the station. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Onsens and attractions within walking distance. Big room for Japan, clean and warm.

This is extremely friendly place! You feel at home! The hotel I situated in the very centre so you have the whole town within a walking distance. The staff is very kind and helpful! Everything is crystal clean! The room itself is not very big but on the other hand the bed is huge and comfortable! I truly recommend this place!

No vending machine in the hotel. Need to go out of hotel to buy anything. Still use old phisical key to open the door which kind of irritating because only one key per room.

last minute booking, all of the hotel at kusatsu onsen are fully booked, I did not expect much. However the hotel end up quite good. Spacious room especially for the 3 bed room. The bed come with heated blanket. Free wifi but nowadays all hotel have free wifi. Good location, hotel located in between Bus station and yubatake (city center)

The location is great, set between the bus station and the touristic town centre with the hot spring field. Everything is within a fairly short walk, including free and paid hot spring baths. The value for the room was very good, comfortable and reasonably priced.

Comfortable and clean rooms with good beds. Receptionist DC was very friendly and provided good service and information. Basic breakfast was adequate especially the freshly made strawberry banana smoothie. Very good location, few minutes walk to the yubatake area and yet very quiet. Good value especially for a Saturday night in Kusatsu Onsen.

It is not a perfect hotel but for the price that we pay, it meets our expectation.

The hotel is just a short walk from the bus terminal, and close to the town center. It provided a clean basic room that we needed for the night. The free morning coffee was surprisingly good. We took the 4pm bus from Tokyo and it was well passed 8pm when we arrived, but the staff waited for us because we have already let the hotel know of our late arrival. It is not easy to find a hotel that accepts late check in the area.

We wanted to take a hot shower around 6am but there wasn't any hot water until 7 am.

They only have one kind of pillow and it was too soft/flat for me. The bathroom is on the small side and the shower area is functional but small. The WiFi is unusable for most of the day.

The staff was exceptional. It’s an old building but they kept it very clean. They made sure the air-conditioning and air-purifying units were spotless. The bed was comfortable. There was a small safe for valuables and even a kettle and tea set in the room. The hotel itself is centrally located, although having said that, it’s just a small town so it’s easy to walk everywhere. For those wanting the extras, there are plenty of other hotels offering bigger rooms and an onsen within the hotel but you’ll also have to pay for those extras. This place is perfect for a short stay in an onsen town.

Really hospitable staff. The owner really goes the extra mile to make your stay an enjoyable and memorable one. Really big room, and the bed was plenty big enough for two people. The supplied Yukata were a lovely little touch. The room was well air conditioned, quiet, and clean. On the Sunday, there was a delicious breakfast which would put a lot of higher priced hotels to shame. The location is as convenient as it gets, just a 3 min walk from Yubatake and 5 mins from the bus terminal and most other places. I will definitely try to book this hotel again if I visit Kusatsu again.

We are asked to leave our shoes outside the hotel then wear the slippers fr lobby left by different hotel guests. Some are sticky and sweaty. I think it's not so hygiene.
