Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location is great, right next to Osaka station. Interior is very industrial - concrete walls on the inside. They kept our luggage for few hours when we arrived early.

JapanAlthough the bed and surrounding was clean, there was so much piled dust and dirt on the air conditioner that I did not dare you to use it. Additionally, the walls in the room were full of large holes, I don’t know if this was intended as a style but it looked disturbing.
The location is great and I had a very nice view. The bathroom was clean.

Japan-Nothing much to say. Just one thing was I totally understand that only guests can go inside the room and even friends or family cannot go up to help carry baggage. But it will be much better and smooth if receptionist could offer help or offer me a trolley to me from the beginning instead of just saying "No" to my family to help me go upstairs. -No bottle water and coffee in the room. -This is not something about hotel but just an additional info for the people who stays here. As there are many hotels around + it is located in the center of the city + it was a small store, Family Mart was very crowded and less choice of foods at the time when I went there. It is recommended to buy your breakfast beforehand at different location.
-Location. Super close from Hankyu Umeda station. I stayed here in order to catch early bus to KIX and it was perfect location for this purpose. -Clean and comfortable room. -Family Mart is at the corner of the same street and very convenient.

IndiaGuests should be told about inserting key into hole so that lights come on. Reception didn't tell me this but came up when i called them to show me. Not really a negative but just 'to be noted'.
Great value for money, and excellent location. Osaka station 3 mins away which makes train movements within and outside city very easy. Surprised this doesn't have a higher rating. Also around the corner is this amazing building (maybe called Yoddabashi?) where the ground floor and the 7 floor are buzzing full of nice restaurants (way better than a food court). My room has a nice openable window. Staff were helpful - this is true of every hotel in Japan i stayed in. One of the best things is that the bus to the airport is literally 3 minutes away at the New Hankyu hotel across the street. Although i was recommended the train from Osaka station, I wanted to take the bus and experience the city and it was such a beautiful and memorable drive from center of Osaka to along the coast to the airport with great views and took 50 minutes. A great highlight to end my amazing Japan trip.
