Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

TaiwanThere were some inconveniences but they are not that serious. There is a time frame to make check-in, and there were no people in the counter in the morning, but its OK as long as you know in advanced. I had a minor inconvenience that my room was no cleaned on the second day, but I got clean towels / trash bags right away when I went back to my room, so it was not a big deal. These really minor inconveniences were not deal breakers, and the hotel location and easiness to arrive by metro weights more than just these annoyances.
The hotel is in a nice location. It was easy to arrive from the Metro station. Also there are 7-11 and supermarket really close. The room had a fridge and microwave, so buying food and having breakfast was extremely easy.

PhilippinesWe checked in ag this hotel at the very last minute because of some issues with our original booking at another hotel. Our stay was decent, but the hotel is clearly old and run-down. There was a strong stench outside of our room on the top floor which smelled of sewage. The rooms were okay, but I had to disinfect and use cleansing wipes on the surfaces as the room was old and dusty. The cleaning staff were very pleasant and friendly and often said good morning in Japanese, but front desk was not very pleasant or accommodating and they would not allow us to leave our luggage nor wait at the lobby before our check-in time. On top of which, English was not spoken by the front desk staff which made communication difficult. The keys of the room were bulky and came with a rectangular shaped keychain.
The location was superb and right at the heart of Namba.
