Everything was beyond our expectations! Beautiful place, very nice and hospitable people at the hotel and a stunning view of the lake and Fuji. Would recommend to take the Japanese style room! Thank you for the experience!

Incredible views of Mount Fuji from every room. Wonderful service and excellent decor, art, and literature throughout the hotel. They also provide e-bikes for you to get around the area which is a big plus. We loved our stay!

The hotel is up a steep hill so definitely try and get the shuttle bus available through the hotel if you have luggage or else try and travel light.

View was absolutely amazing from our room. Meals both breakfast and dinner were delicious. Staff were so helpful and polite and we loved the onsen with a view of Mt Fuji.

The view from our room was incredible. We were lucky enough that the view of Mt Fuji was completely clear the day we visited. The staff at the hotel were so welcoming and lovely. They have a shuttle to the train station that runs every 30 mins starting at 8. We had wanted to leave at 7am so asked to book a taxi. Instead of booking us a taxi they stopped what they were doing and gave us a lift instead. I will be recommending to everyone I know that is planning a visit Japan to stay here.

Two receptionist staff need to improve their services. But I guess it’s not a 4 or 5 star hotel so lower your expectations. The bed is rock hard and isn’t very comfortable. The public bath could be cleaner.

The fact you can see Fuji mountain from your room was amazing. Dinner was good. The shuttle bus driver is very friendly.

We would have liked the option to be able to decide dinner or breakfast on the spot, not a day earlier. We wanted to have breakfast in the morning, we wanted to let them know at 7.00 and had time until 9.30, but still it was not possible for them to offer breakfast to us (only 2 people).

Free bicycles, great Mt.Fuji views, the onsen was amazing too, super clean, nicely decorated rooms and bar.

In general the shabu-shabu dinner is pretty good. However, I would not recommend the chicken choice - the meat was fatty.

The decor is modern and cosy. Great choice of facilities, among terraces, reading area and onsen.

That my stay was too short

The view is everything! We were so lucky to wake up with a clear view of Fuji over the lake, it’s spectacular and no pictures can show the beauty of it. The staff is amazing, so lovely and helpful. The food is great too! Everything is so cosy, next time I will stay longer just to hang around in the hotel drinking wine and starting at the view. Ooh the onsen is GREAT too!

Nothing about the property but if you are wanting to eat somewhere else keep in mind they close early and is a bit of a walk to get to and a hill to get back to the property.

An experience I’ll never forget. Incredible view of Mt Fuji from the room, reception and onsen. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming and even took our luggage to the room for us and also offered a welcome tea which was delicious. Onsen was quiet so had it to myself both times I used it and they provided robes, the open air onsen was amazing to enjoy the view of Mt Fuji as well. We didn’t do the dinner but had the breakfast and was great value for money as it was so much food and sat by the window to enjoy the view. We also enjoyed coffee in the room overlooking Fuji. They also had bikes which I wish we used to ride around the lake if we had more time. Convenient shuttle to get you and take you to the main bus stop. Cute and cosy bar to have a drink in reception or by the fireplace. Upstairs bar was unfortunately closed when we went but a beautiful view again over the lake and Mt Fuji but would have been amazing to have a drink and watch the sunset there.

The only aspect that left me slightly dissatisfied was the unexpectedly cramped room.

The scenery is magnificent with an unobstructed view. Unfortunately, during our stay, the weather was bad, and we were unable to catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji. The lobby design is special. The arrangement of the balcony for observing the mountain is excellent.
