How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Decor and rooms look very dated.

The room interior could be modernised!
Is just located next to Narita Airport,Terminal 1. I paid 500 Yen for taxi from Terminal 1 to Hotel at 9:30pm. The room is clean.The shuttle bus is a big bonus!

A little bit old and don’t have any convenience store nearby (they have food machine but don’t have much options)
The location was great. Suit for who have an early flight. They also have a bus transport from airport and hotel. The room is great big and has many space

They allowed us to leave our luggage there free of charge on the "sandwich date" where we travelled outside of Chiba.

Efficient check-in, literally 5 minutes walk from Terminal 1 and good shuttle service to Terminals 2 & 3. The buffet breakfast was excellent value, coffee very good. I can recommend the Airport Gozen for dinner despite sounding unexciting in English, delicious dishes of soup, salmon, mackerel, pork and rice. You can take the Skyliner from Terminal 1 to Ueno Square in just over an hour. Perfect airport hotel.

It would be fantastic if they had a bar that opened late.
Close to the airport. There’s a shuttle bus, but you can easily walk it.

Only 2 early morning shuttles to T3, otherwise a 10 min walk from T2 to T3

The decor reminds me of the 80s. I mean it doesn't affect the experience but maybe it could be improved. A complimentary bottle of water in the room would be great. The size of the key is a bit exaggerated :D
The place is perfect if you have to catch an early flight. Compared with other hotels in Japan, the room was very big and luminous. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet. It's a 3-5 minutes walk from Terminal 1 so you don't have to take any bus, which is available anyway. Highly recommended.

The airport shuttle was very convenient especially for the first time travelers to Japan. Room was spacious compare to other hotels in Japan.

It'll probably be tough walk from airport to hotel especially with many baggages. We took the free shuttle in the end but you might get a better valued for money place slightly further away if you're planning to utilize the shuttle services anyways. They do not provide shuttle to AEON Mall/ Narita Station.
Clean and large rooms. Room facilities are working well.

Very close to the airport, I felt like we were less than 10 minutes on the bus from Terminal 1. Very responsive to messages to give really clear details about the timing of the airport shuttle. Check in and check out where really fast and smooth.

It is very old (almost retro) but it’s absolutely fit for purpose and the price reflects this in my opinion.
So close the main Terminal 1 at Narita Airport. You can walk in a few minutes. Absolutely fine for an overnight stay before a flight. Very retro experience but cleanliness standards were high, it’s managed with pride and an effort to provide all the amenities in the room has clearly been made including with the very reasonably priced breakfast.

The hotel had a shuttle service (bus) from the airport to the hotel. Stop number 16 at Narita Airport. The shuttle bus comes around every 30 minutes. Great service!

Not much we can do about it, but since it's an older building the sound proofing seemed to be weak. We could hear neighbours and some people chatting as they walked down the hallway.
The location was excellent! There was a free shuttle bus ride to and from the airport (Terminal 1 + 2). The beds were comfortable enough and the room was clean. We liked how spacious the twin bedroom was! Complimentary amenities were available at the front desk and the vending machines in front of the elevator were a pretty good substitute for a kombini! It was great for an overnight stay, before we caught another flight.

The hotel is ideally located within walking distance (4-5 minutes) from Terminal 1 of Narita Airport. The room was clean and equipped with all basic amenities. Breakfast was included and was ok. All in all, a pleasant stay. Good value for money. Many thanks.
