We had a really wonderful stay at Osaka Ukiyoe Hotel and would recommend it to all our friends and family. Our hosts Ozaki and Kumiko were the most kind people who really made it their goal to make the stay as enjoyable as possible by giving tips and helping us out where needed. We participated in the samurai photoshoot, and after some small hesitance we enjoyed it a lot and we have super fun pictures to remember the moment! You can really tell Ozaki and Kumiko love to make people happy. The appartement itself was just like the photos and was big, comfy and clean. We enjoyed the Japanese style themed rooms and loved the vibe with the low table in the living room to eat our take out sushi. The bathroom was nice and spacious and we made use of the washing machine. The apartment location was close to the subway and we got around easily to osaka castle, nara and downtown area. Only thing we liked less was the view on the busy road in front of the appartement, so we kept the traditional shutters closed. If you are looking for a nice cute themed place in Osaka with some lovely hosts, look no further!

Had a family trip to Osaka and stayed in this hotel for a week. In summary, it was a home away from home. Greeted by Ozaki-san when we first arrive in the evening. He waited for us to arrived and we had taken abit longer than usual as we were coming into Osaka from Kyoto. Ozaki-san took the time to take us through the amenities in the hotel. Everything was self contain, beautifully decorated, clean and homely - hence a home away from home. Ozaki-san and Ms Su went beyond to make sure that we were totally comfortable staying in the hotel. Loved the mist shower that they had in the bathroom. The room was self contained - bedroom, living area, bathroom and kitchen all on one floor. Bathroom had a washer & dryer hence most convenient when it came to doing the laundry. Location is also quite ideal. Hotel is about 5+ mins walk either way to Midosuji and Yotsubashi line. Many convenience store and grocery store nearby too. Thumbs up and totally recommend the hotel.

Everything was perfect, from start to finish. Ozaki is so kind and waited up for us from our late flight and made sure we had everything.we needed and a whole lot more. We had a massive room with space to relax and move around, the bath and shower were fantastic and the washer dryer was so useful. The children were also very happy with Netflix and Disney+! We also dressed up in the traditional outfits with Ozaki's help, which was super fun for everyone. The ryokan is in an amazing location close to the metro just a couple of stops from Dotombori and Osaka Castle to name a couple of things. It was so easy to get around and there are many cafes and convenience stores very close by to grab whatever you need. We would 100% stay again.

nothing . just if your want to stay in the town area . this might not the buzzing busy night life u will get

the host make us feel like staying our own home. it is huge room and you get some gifts and snacks , feel like staying your friend place , very friendly and clean . u can use the washing machine n dryer without charges . bathroom water pressure is good . short walk to the train station . and recommendations of good foods to go . they even help us to book the ticket . it's not like hotel chain but very cozy place to stay . we have a great experience

The staff member Su is so welcoming and very courteous, the room filled with Japanese painting, my kids felt in love instantly. Very clean with all amenities, definitely be back!

The most lovely hosts and beautiful place to stay! Everything was amazing! We were welcomed with cute momentos and we had the opportunity to stay on both the 5th and 6th floor and both were great.

We really enjoyed our stay. the hotel is close to a subway and you can quickly reach your destination. The rooms are great, you couldn't do better and you have a lot of space compared to most other hotels. Very friendly and helpful employees.

Best hospitality experience ever - we stayed at Osaka Ukiyoe Ryokan for three nights. It was an amazing experience started before we arrive. The host shared a lot of useful information to help us plan our trip in Osaka e.g. places to visit, good restaurant, nearby airport transfers and many more. On the day of arrival, the owner greeted us at the door and showed us the room and its facilities. The room was clean, spacious, decorated with tradition Japanese art work (Ukiyoe). There is also a kitchen with a fridge, pans and portable induction stove if you would like to cook. The in-room 2 in 1 washer and dryer also comes really handy to have clean cloths in the morning without the fuss of finding a coin laundry. On the second day, the host gave us a memorable photo experience of dressing in demon slayer characters. The kids also loved it, being dressed as Tanjiro. As our days are packed when visiting Osaka, there are so much to see. We wish we would have more time to enjoy everything at the Ryokan. On our departure the host booked airport transfer for us and greeted us as we are leaving. This was the best hospitality one could have imagined. We will definitely be back again.
