Beautiful onsen, wonderful obliging and friendly staff, perfect location close to the Yuba, bus station, supermarket and the open onsen park. A very nice restaurant right next door as well with oishi soba as well a Lawson downstairs. It was snowing and cold when we were there so this convenience was a godsend. Supermarket also had very nice cooked food. A really wonderful stay. Kusatsu is a very beautiful town. I would highly recommend this accommodation and the breakfasts were superb, really special and beautifully presented.

The room is cold at night cause of the heater does not work as expected, but somehow staff teach me how to activate heater again with Japanese heater remote control.

There are just 5 rooms in this hotel that make feel more private. Automatically rest room is so good.

Very convenient location. In front of Kusatsu Bus Terminal, short walk to Yubatake and shops and restaurants. The room we stayed was very clean and comfortable. The Onsen isn’t big but nice and cozy size. I enjoyed all to myself as there was no one else in the bath twice I had been.

Everything was great! Location, service, design. Welcome drink with sweets and breakfast are served right into your room! Also you can use onsen all night long, which is unusual.

The breakfast was delicious. The staff brought the breakfast to our room. The hotel is across the street from the bus terminal. Lawson is next to the hotel and that makes shopping easy.

No elevator but staff will help you with heavy luggage. The hotel has only 2 floors so most people will have no problem.

Everything was good. The Staff, Location, the room, the onsen, breakfast...all are wonderful. I have problem with my heavy luggage but the nice young female staff helped me. The hotel is right across Kusatsu bus terminal (less then 1 minute walk), and there is a 2-minutes-walk shortcut to Yubatake. There is a convenience store right in front and a restaurant next door. There is no shower or bathtub in the toilet in guest-room. But who needs those when you have an onsen with showering area.

Beautiful, traditional accommodation with outstanding hospitality. The staff were lovely and made our small children feel special and welcome. The rooms were a great size, and the breakfast and welcome snack were delicious. Great location across from the bus station, above a Lawson convenience store and close to the centre of town.

Excellent accomodation and would highly recommend. Location is fantastic - right across from the bus terminal and in close walking distance to the yubatake. Host is lovely and gave us matcha and sweets on arrival, there is also yukata and things for going to onsen/foot bath provided. The breakfast was delicious and served inside your room. Loved the onsen on-site and it was very clean.
