Superb staff ! Ryota and Mai are super friendly and great hosts ! The location is fantastic as it is in the middle of the city where the action's at ! Super cozy place, nice architecture and great spot to meet people and have fun !

You had to go downstairs to shower and beside the area where people were having dinner. Smoke smell in all common areas often.

Location excellent, town center only 5 mins walk ish. Curtains over bed, quite private and a lot of space available in this area. Very friendly staff.

The sink on the second floor could use some heater during winter season

The people who work there were friendly and very nice. The location is nearby popular/touristy areas. The bed space was comfortable and of decent size. Very cozy environment.

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed in….as a backpacker. Staff friendly and super helpful. Thank you to Utah, Ryota and everyone else for the advice where to snowboard and other activities. Friendly atmosphere.

the smoke from the outside of the room can be smelled to my area even if the doors are closed.

Nice hostel that was close to the main streets. Great little bar and the staff were awesome to interact with. Sapporo Classic on tap beer was delicious, I will miss that beer.

The manager Yuta was such a cool guy he made our stay very enjoyable. The beds were super comfy and the place very clean. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The staff were all great and accomodating.

My room was in the other building so I would have to walk over to the main building for the bar and asking questions from the staff etc. I think it was low season so there wasn't much of an atmosphere in the bar itself. Not many tourists around.

The bar is cool, they have decent drinks and food selection. The place is very close to susikino which is the main restaurant and nightlife district

We were staying in the Japanese style room which was very small. Enough space to have a bin and a clothes rack which was nice but with 3 beds in there it was a tight squeeze. We also found it slightly odd that after showering you had to walk past the bar area so if you shower at night you were walking past a lot of people on the way back to the room. Not a big deal though

The facilities were all very clean and in the few interactions we had with the staff they were friendly. There was lots of young travellers staying there and so it was nice to speak to and get to know some of them. It was also quite central to Sapporo and close to a train station.

Could be noisy late as the bar stays open, but they make you aware of this.

Fantastic convivial staff who are incredibly welcoming and helpful. I liked the bar and restaurant downstairs, with a nice mixture of travellers and locals mingling. The bunk beds were incredibly comfortable and unusually private.

Couldn’t find any sugar for my coffee.

Great atmosphere, with a small well managed bar with food available, beside a Japanese style hangout area for the guests. Staff are always available and likeable manager Yuta even carried my oversized luggage up the stairs. Close to subway station and a lively part of time.

We had a room in the extension building next door. The design and atmosphere did not fit into the hostel's concept at all. It is a grey and anonymous old 80ies/90ies style business hotel that even still has old smoke smell in the carpet. Functionally speaking, everything was fine and clean, but it had nothing to do with what one might expect from the promotion photos (like much wood and cozy lodge feeling).

The main building, which is the original part of the hostel, was very nice. At last the shared and public parts that we saw. The mix of common use are and bar/restaurant (at night) is very charming. We could leave our luggage there before and after check out on the first and last days. And I could also work there after I had checked out of the room already. I had one of the best and most stable wifi internet connections of my whole life in this hostel! Staff were very friendly.

Small living space and communal kitchen, but it's ok when it's not crowded!

Cozy chalet atmosphere, all in wood. The space on 1F had a very good mood and everything was clean and comfortable. The food and drinks at the restaurant were good! Good space around the bed for luggage.

Keep in mind that the lodge is also a bar and restaurant on the first floor that is open until 2am. You will hear music and talking from downstairs if trying to sleep before then, but there are complementary earplugs.

I liked that the bunk beds were larger than usual. You get a twin size bed + a bit of extra storage/sitting room in your bunk, which I’ve never experienced before.

The lodge does not have parking, there are many parking spaces around but they are small and many were full when we arrived (Friday evening).

The staff was very knowledgeable and had very good English. They even told us about fireworks happening that evening and where to see them. A/C was great! and good shower too. Which was really all we could ask for after the long flight :-)

Very good location! About 10 minutes to the subway station, and the Susukino area is only across the street.
