How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The check in was terrible, long wait and staff seemed very stressed trying to do everything in a very nice way, you can tell that they need more help at the time of check inn and out.
Great location, Huge room, nice and very spacious bed. Felt very luxurious. Breakfast was amazing though we had to wait for our breakfast table.

Views aren't great but can't be helped given the location! Mini bar was limited and the lounge bar limited with drinks. Main bar you could not take kids under 14, even early evening. Rooms are a bit tired and old, could be refurbished
Good location near the station, really easy to get around Hiroshima. The staff were friendly and helpful

A bit distant from the Peace Park, Dome, etc.
Very close to train station, which was great. Excellent sized room and a great view.

Sometimes you need to make an allowance for the time of waiting to get sorted for a breakfast. But it is not a big deal only requires proper time management from the guest :)
Perfect location, great facilities and very helpful and welcoming personnel. Very tasty breakfast with a good variety for any demands

It would be good to know before booking that using of hotel swimming pool and hotel saunas are paid. Also the doors to the toilet and bathroom at room are transparent. It was not pleasant, especially when using the toilet.
Great location! The hotel is right next to the train station, there is also a steelcar, city bus and airport bus stop in close proximity to the hotel. Very Nice breakfast! Hotel has a swimming pool and a few saunas.

The bed is not that comfortable. Pillows are all too high. The blanket is too heavy.
The staff was very accommodating on my departure date change. Very close to the Hiroshima train station. A covered walkway leads to the hotel entrance from the station directly.

Very close to Hiroshima station. Lots of shops near by. Family Mart right next door. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Staff are wonderful. Nice view of the city. Beautiful bar and resWould not stay anywhere else.

Bar staff were less friendly
Great location by the station. Helpful and friendly reception staff, very welcoming. Room spotlessly clean and with a very comfy bed. Wonderful views from our room.

The restaurant was not very good, neither the service nor the food. I wish we didn't waste the time and money eating in the hotel. The room was a bit small, and the restroom has zero privacy-- you feel very exposed using it! Just be ready for that! Service-wise, they felt too busy and didn't take time to make sure we were taken care of. Any request was met with a scowl and I speak Japanese so I could hear what they were saying to each other when I asked for some help. The woman checking us in did not make us feel welcomed and in fact, seemed in a rush.
Best thing about this hotel is that you're just outside the shinkansen station, and I love this old part of Hiroshima. You're right in the middle of the REAL, untouristy city, and the street cars are abundant to take you where you want to go (also taxis of course.) The lobby is small but there is a nice seating area and they don't pressure you to order anything.

Lighter comforter would be helpful. It is too heavy and uncomfortable to sleep under. As bed was hard I used it as a mattress topper.
Location was a perfect base to explore Hiroshima. Red bus at door to take you to Peace Park, Bomb Dome. It is also a convenient if you intend visitong Miyajama Island.

Cost of beverages a bit over the top. Recommend you drink and dine elsewhere.
Great location next to Railway Station and Bus Terminal. Plenty of Restaurants close by. Facilities are moder and well maintained.
