Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ThailandRoom/bed - although typical of many rooms in Tokyo, it is fine for 2 people. Maybe a bit of a squeeze if you have lots of/large luggage. Ideally it is suited to 1 person in my opinion. Due to room size, one side of the bed was up against the wall. Smell - I think there is a bar/restaurant downstairs and the smell of cooking from the kitchen can make its way into the room. I was on the 4th floor I think. However, after turning on the air purifier, this was not an issue. Toilet/bathroom - no fan ventilation if I remember correctly
Hotel - modern and clean. Some pictures on the internet do not do it justice. Room - modern and clean. Bed - comfortable Toilet - clean, good size in proportion to the whole room. Lighting - good, not too bright or dim Facilities - air purifier, charging cables (didn't use), internet (speed and connection were stable during my stay) Staff - welcoming, helpful, professional Location - short distance from station, surrounding by restaurants and convenience stores. Walking distance from Tokyo Dome (I went to watch a concert there) Jimbocho is known for its bookstore/ bookstore cafes. On the Shinjuku subway line (green) so easy to get to Shinjuku and back.

ThailandThe only thing I don't like is the small size of the room. But it wasn't too difficult to stay.😅
Great location. The location is near the metro-station, convenient to travel. There is a convenience store nearby and there is an ATM in it, making it convenient to withdraw cash. The staff are very cute and friendly. Provide full assistance.

JapanThe rooms were a bit small, especially for the price. We had trouble finding a place for our suitcases (international travel size) and moving around with them.
It was clean, nice facilities and good selection of amenities The staff was kind, helpful, and welcoming. It’s a good central location.

NetherlandsRoom wasn’t very big, especially when staying in the room during the day since it doesn’t have a place to sit like a desk. However, still big enough for 1 person.

United KingdomPrice for the spa was a little on the expensive side I thought.
VIew of the runway was great and I was located on the tenth floor. I also liked how you had to use your card to access the elevator and elevator foyer. Lots of facilities to use, which was a nice added bonus.

JapanThe breakfast options leave a lot to be desired. Although, it suffices for a quick fill me up before heading out.
The location was very convenient. There were a lot of interesting shops and restaurants around. A 7-11 is right across the hotel.

SpainThere weren't as many facilities as in other hotels (I missed having an onsen). The "eco-cleaning" feature didn't really appeal to me, as it meant the beds weren't made and only some things were cleaned and changed. The breakfast was okay, although it could have more things to choose from.
The staff was friendly and the location was great, next to the Kōdōkan Judo Institute and the Tokyo Dome. The price was good.

JapanReally conveniently located and well connected, within walking distance from Kudanshita station, Jimbocho station and Suidobashi station. My room was spacious and attractively furnished. It was quiet at night and I had a really comfortable stay. Staff were also friendly and helpful. I had a great stay here, I would definitely stay again if I come back to Tokyo.
