Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The toilet is good with hot running water. Air-conditioning is working as.should be. Two thumbs up. Even have a small balcony, which we could open the window to freshen up the room.

SpainThe room was too little for two persons since we brought a lot of luggage, so we didn't have space for all the luggages and the room felt a bit too crowded. But we could live with that. Also, the room doesn't have cleaning service, but I would love if you could have access to a vacuum cleaner to do it yourself at least.
It is a nice hotel room with all the facilities you need, very cheap, in a great location. We could take the metro within a short walk and get anywhere in the city. You also can walk to important tourist spots from there, like Sensoji Temple, SkyTree, Ueno Park... I really recommend MyStays! :)

Serbiajust a remark that rooms and facilities in the hotel are a bit worn out, but they are kept clean!
I liked everything about this hotel. The location was excellent, easy to find, and close to the metro, restaurants, some of main sightseeing spots in Tokyo and supermarkets. Our room had a small kitchenette, which was quite useful. Hotel allows eating in room, but you need to clean up as it does not provide regular room cleaning. We didn't mind this because we spent whole days outside - exploring the city. Staff is very welcoming, kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back!

good location, good standard tokyo hotel, you get what you pay for but bathroom is your own and bath/shower both very good, very good pressure and hot water. close to sento, supermarkets/convenience stores etc. fairly good view.

United KingdomI think some of the rooms/sinks in particular could do with renovations soon. I had wallpaper peeling off my wall and the sink is water stained badly, but otherwise it's clean and convenient. Don't stay here if you're looking for a fancy experience. You also are responsible for sorting your own recycling, which I don't mind.
Excellent value for money if you don't mind a small hotel. I wouldn't recommend it for couples so much unless you're both very tiny, but it's great for solo travellers.

MalaysiaThe bathroom is too small, and the bidet of the toilet is not working. Overall the hotel feel tad bit outdated, we only choose this place because it was close to Tokyo Dome. And it was quite a walking distance from the nearest station, so traveller with huge luggage might need to consider this aspect.
The checkin process was smooth and the location is very close to the city center. You can easily reach any part of the city just by Bus. The room have many built-in shelf to compensate their small area. And we have an amazing view facing the Skytree tower just outside our window.
