A very nice place with very good onsen. The rooms are very nice and relatively big. The buffet is excellent with lot of kind of foods.

The buffet dinner was not that great. Mediocre food options and over cooked beef. There were very limited towels in the rooms to keep the washroom dry and clean.

The buffet breakfast was really good. I loved how there were so many different private onsen and that there weren't any lineups. There is a health room with massage chairs and foot massager and some health measures that was nice. I was surprise there were so much kids entertainment there as well. The location was close to the near by attractions. There was free parking as well. Overall it was a great experience

I enjoyed the most their free private onsen. Both the breakfast and dinner buffet provided varieties of food with fresh and local ingredients. It's a great chance to try something new and authentic.

The property will need to be more specific with the ‘half-board’ term as we thought meals would be served in the room instead of buffet style.

The property is well located, close to shops and restaurants. Even though it’s old, it is well maintained and spacious too. Love the indoor and outdoor baths on level 9 👍 Food is okay for buffet style with good variety. It can get crowded but love the vibe personally. Staffs are helpful especially the older waiters in the restaurant. They really looked after us during our 2-day stat Try their massage service- the lady is amazing

Nothing to complaint, since this is family friendly resort, restaurants tend to be a bit noisy as there are kids running around. But overall great place to stay.

Great facilities for family trip, good location. Front desk staff were extremely friendly. Buffet breakfast and dinner offer great choice of food. Both public and private onsens are very good. Different types of private onsens to choose from. Very clean and spacious.

A bit too many people during dinner/breakfast as there are group visits. Dinner/breakfast are nearly the same during my 3-night stay, but understandable.

Walkable distance to popular attractions (The Temple, The River and bridges, the Bamboo walk, etc). Many private onsens to choose from. Facilities and room are clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. Surprise dinner item in my 3rd night.

There are many different small private onsen rooms in this hotel which is interesting. There is no dedicated shuttle bus, but there is a lot of regular public busses passing close by the hotel, which makes it convenient anyway. There is a convenience store inside the hotel which is cool concept and appreciated!

One of the most efficiently run hotels that I’ve been to. The whole system is seamless and the quality of the food was also excellent. Hot springs pools are devine. I now would like to stay in all other hotels run by this corporation.

The check in process was very long. We initially arrived 1 hour early and we’re told to return at check in time (3pm) where we were greeted with around 100 other guests attempting to check in at the same time. We waited around an hour in the busy lobby before we could then check in.. which definitely had a negative impact on our first impressions of the hotel.

We enjoyed the selection of onsens available and the comfortable, large rooms (we stayed in the Japanese style room). The location is also excellent as it’s only a very short walk to many of the sights in the town.

A little difficult to get to without a car.

Perched on a hillside, this hotel is best accessed by car. It's very large and very well organized. Onsen - large public and a number of small private ones are fantastic. Recreation room was retro - old arcade games and well maintained table tennis table. There was even a room with old games - turned out to be a pleasant way to pass the time. In addition to a sumptuous buffet (dinner and breakfast) there was ramen served late at night - amazing! The gift shop /convenience store was extremely well stocked. All in - a great experience - we should have planned to stay an extra night.

Excellent 7 room types of private onsen. Waiting not too long, good management queue and easy to get it. The room is spacious area. Nice sleep. Halfboard were buffet. The ingredients are standard by hotel buffet. Please note, you need to come on time because of some menu not are refilled or lately refilled but the restaurant was closed on time.

Amazing facilities, spotlessly clean. The Onsen and bathing facilities were top class. The buffet breakfast and dinner were extensive and delicious. Some of the friendliest and most welcoming staff I've ever come across. They made the whole experience of staying at the hotel and absolute joy. I would highly recommend this establishment to any travellers. The facilities of the hotel are so great, I would give it five stars.

It’s in a small town , stores closed early. Restricted by the bus schedule.

It was close to the bus stop so I didn’t get too wet in the rain. It was also very close to Shuzenji temple where I visited. Restaurants were close by. The breakfast had the largest buffet selections of delicious Japanese food. I got to ride an e-bike for the first time which made for faster travel in the hilly town in the iffy weather—there was a thunderstorm at night but clouds during the day. There were many family activities available in the hotel. No shoes allowed in hotel, put them in locker and walk around in socks or bare feet.
