The private onsen looked a bit old.

I stayed for one night at this hotel. The staff were very accomodating and friendly. We rented the private onsen for approx. one hour and was definately worth it. The highlight however was the public onsen. We ended up going on the morning (around 09.00) and it was completely emply. This made the experience even better, as we enjoyed the onsen in complete peace! The location was right next to the station which was very useful! There is also an elevator to take you to the hotel which was very useful.

Location- just a short and direct walk across from Hakone-Yumoto Station, with an elevator to go right up to level of hotel. Spacious comfortable room, good onsen facilities.

We were very disappointed that the outside pool wasn't open yet. On booking it showed, that it had opened and this was the reason why we book this hotel particularly. The private onsen is shabby and useless if you use it with a toddler as replacement for the pool. It is too hot for small children and the window cannot be opened sufficiently to get some fresh air in.

Great for small children too. We asked to move 2 beds together, but instead we got a 3rd bed in the middle. This was so kind! The playroom is great, but nobody told us, that there is a playroom, so we only found it by accident.

We went on July 17th and the swimming pool was still closed even we were at 37 degrees. The information doesn’t mention from when to when the pool is open. If I knew the pool was still closed, I were go to a cheaper hotel.

The location is so convenient. Breakfast is really good and the staff is always available to help.

The japanese room with tatami floor was beatiful. Perfect location just a short walking distance from the train station, shops and restaurants. The public bath was very nice.

However, the price was on the higher side. Additionally, the on-site restaurants were expensive, and a reservation was necessary to dine at those restaurants.

The hotel's location is unbeatable, just two minutes away from the train/bus station, and its private elevator takes guests to the top of the hill where the hotel is located. Moreover, the staff was very courteous and helpful.

The hotel was pricier than most places, but that is to be expected in a tourist destination.

Excellent location near the train station, with a great onsen bath. Rooms were large and beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, and were conversant in English.

It is better to choose the main building, the Annex is far away from the public bath. There is only one microwave in the whole hotel!

The public onsen was wonderful and the communal areas were clean and tidy. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Chinese restaurant on site, all the staff were very approachable. Our room was a great size and well equipped.
