Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaThe only downfall was the ‘bedding’ which were two very thin futons. My partner and I ended up stacking the two futons and one of the blankets into a pile to make it a little comfier.
Great location, in a lively part of Busan surrounded by markets and restaurants. Owner had little English but was accommodating when needed. Accomodation was very easy and simple.

SingaporeBooking.com could have stated clearly how the payment was going to be made - cash or credit. Clearer instructions to check-in could be given. We didn't know how we are going to check-in and had no choice but to just head to the guesthouse and shout if anyone was there. Thankfully the owner was around. Do note that the owner does not speak English, just prepare the cash beforehand.
The room was clean and spacious. The space is separated into four main sections using cloth/screeners. (Toilet has a proper door and lock.) One space seems to be for changing, two of the spaces are activities/sleeping and the last space is the sink (kitchen and toilet). We could open 4 largest sized luggage and still have space to sleep/do activities. There is a small table provided where you can sit around and eat/drink. The shower had strong water pressure and warm water. There was a hairdryer working well too. Not sure if the water from the tap is filtered water but if you are worried, you can purchase water from the nearby mart. The location of the stay is very convenient. There are restaurants nearby, stalls selling simple snacks and a mart which has everything. It is extremely near the beach as well, which was lovely :) Do note that the guesthouse is an experience of how the locals live so there will be bound to have some imperfections.

The location is great. very short walk to the beach and it’s right in the middle of a street food alley yet still quiet and comfortable. the shower, AC and floor heat all worked well.

Rooms are very very old, not like building but like hut. it was very difficult to spend the night there. Very very old hut it is. I would recommend not to book this room by anyone. The room also has significant safety issues.
