The concierge wasn’t as helpful as we hoped for finding things to do. We were there over central Asian new year (Nauryz) and they didn’t know what festivities were on, so we missed the only event that happened (we walked past it the next day when they were taking apart the stage). The pillows weren’t firm enough for me (they are those down pillows which are incredibly soft but lack any support)

The hotel is very nice and ornately decorated inside. The atrium is beautiful. The pool was great for the kids, especially given the windy and rainy weather we had. Our bedroom was a large family suite on the 5th floor. It was mostly very comfortable.

Only issue we had was a confusion over payment which could have been handled better by the staff.

One of the best hotels in Central Asia for facilities - the spa area in particular. Also very well located in the city.

in our second stay the girl in the reception was really rude , I ask her to change the room because there was bad smell in the room itself , make it full the mini bar because it was empty , I called first but seems like the girl didn’t even tried to fix my problem so I went down to talk to them face to face , so they called to somewhere and she forgot that we was sitting and waiting for her answer in front of her , so general manager ask her why the guests are sitting here and she was like “aaah” and I said u forgot about us ? she was super nervous and I told to manager that in our first stay they have been welcoming us that’s why we back here and he of course fixed everything, changed the room immediately, send us complimentary things which is make us really happy

first day I really like it how they welcome us then next day I checked out because I had things to do in another city and I back to hotel because I was really really happy to see the service there and the hotel it’s self very beautiful and the General manager who have been so welcomed us in our second stay there because I went to to them and I told him everything with what I’m not happy

If there is a deposit required at the time of check in, apart from the tariff, it should be highlighted and spoken upon rather than refusing to bill on to the room for any restaurant service availed. In any case, bills for services utilized from restaurant should be billed to the respective room ... which can be taken care of while check out.

We would rate everything 10/10. The building is palatial, great room, amazing decor, great pool and gym, extremely good breakfast. We would rate this hotel as the best in the region.

Bedroom walls too thin . I could even hear who the guy was talking to on his phone in the next room . Road outside turns into a drag strip after dark . Staff need to smile , no chance with the reception and foyer staff . Needs more than 1 person at reception .

A beautifully appointed Grand Hotel with excellent facilities. The lobby is perfect for afternoon tea or an evening drink. Spa very good and attractive. Restaurant a nice retreat with attentive waiters. Very good breakfast buffet. Attention to detail and excellent customer service. The surprise gift from the management in my room was most thoughtful.

They are small discrepancies based on the mentality. There was no cattle in the room, I asked for it and had to find out at the reception that they run out of them because of too many guests. It would be really helpfull if they would call and inform me.

I really liked staff at the lobby caffe. They were really pleasant and even brought me special sweets for Nauryz. Another think I really liked was the swimming pool and hammam.
