The location right next to the dunes is perfect. Guests can walk straight into the dunes from the hotel. The pool area is lovely and the breakfast was the best we had in Morocco. Staff are very helpful and organise camel tours at sunset

The road getting to the property is quite rough for a little car, but not too much of a problem. The hot water pressure was sometimes nonexistent. The drain in my shower was not draining... Also, only a transparent "mesh" curtain in the room, so the room got super bright early in the morning... This was a bit odd. All minor issues though, but overall, I was super happy! I would be happy to book again.

I stayed for three nights at this hotel and really enjoyed myself. The location is probably the best you can get in the whole area. You step off the terrace onto the sand and can walk directly to Erg Chebbi dune. Super comfortable bed! The staff are all young, energetic and helpful. The dinner room was beautifully decorated and the dinner service was really good. The best breakfast I also had in my whole trip in Morocco. Really good value for money and top location!

The reason to choose this place was its location just at the desert and swimming pool but the pool was very dirty and impossible to use. The aircon was on only between 6.30 pm to 6.30 am. The air conditioner in the family room was not working so we were given two rooms.

The location was excellent. The breakfast was unlimited with the Berber omlet and fresh orange juice. Everything was very tasty. The staff were extremely helpful.

Desert tent facility was not up to standard. Hotel reacted very well and relocated us into a room in the building, but a bit sad to not have experience sleeping in the tent

Location on the dune. Camp nearby but isolated as well. How to feel in the desert but easy of access.

Lack signs and lighting leading to hotel. We arrived at night and followed a dirt road and it was pitch black. It would be helpful to have some spot lights with signs along the dirt road to let guests know they are on the right path.

Food, people, entertainment, dunes right outside hotel, great comfy and clean rooms

Shower drain was blocked. Reported the problem and they said it was fixed but it wasnt. Hot water was hit and miss.

This place is like a film set. It belongs in an old black and white film. Absolutely charming. Loved staying here

Unique and cool experience in an old and beautiful castle next to the dunes. Only downside is that it’s a bit run down. The staff was very kind and attentive and overall great !

It was a very fun experience and the staff were great - young and friendly. However there were a few funny things here and there - not much communication over when breakfast/lunch/dinner was supposed to be, no menus, sometimes meals took quite a while (1 hour) but that’s the norm for Morocco. If the staff and hotel wasn’t lovely in general, this would have been problematic, but it was great.

This place is right on the dunes which is perfect for walking around the dunes. The photos of the room don’t do it justice - it looks much better in person. The food served is also very good. It was a fun experience staying here.

The hotel has the potential to be an incredible place if a little money was spent on it which I think they're doing because theres a lot of construction going on. The price is good for what you get and if you're all about location and don't mind a bit of rustic then this hotel is a hit.

The location couldn't be better next to the sand dunes and the staff were great especially Omar who made us feel very welcome and was very attentive. It has family feel to it which we liked, everyone was very nice. We loved the live music too.

Air conditioning in the hotel rooms is only turned on from 9 pm to 7 am, because it runs on a generator. While I understand why, I do wish it had been on until 8 am. The next time I would probably stay in the tents - they looked beautiful!

The location, right next to the dunes, was incredible. The staff was also so incredibly accommodating and kind, especially Omar!

They only take cash The directions - do not use Google to get to the location. You will get stuck in the sand unless you have a 4x4.. Best way is to make you way to the Shell station..Give hotel a call from there and it is a straight 1km drive from there.

The hosts were extremely friendly and went out of their way to assist us.

Very spectaculaire view on the highest dunes of the Erg Chebbi. Friendly staff and nice food. To arrive at the hotel with a small car do not follow the path from Merzouga allong the dunes. You might get stuck then (as we did). Cross the plain desert on a dirt track close to the Shell station straight to the hotel

We were a bit late for the breakfast because my little girl wake up late and they run out of some of the meals but we compensated with other things they offer. Just keep in mind that the hotel is in the dessert and it is not connected to the main electricity grid - they are making their own electricity with solar panels and diesel generator. The hot water in the night is limited, but it isn't a big deal because everything is so hot.

Great location, helpful staff - even helped us with medicine - they kept it in their private fridge. They also offer meals (lunch and dinner) there, which was great. The pool was great. They organised camel ride for us, and offered other activities in the dessert. Definitely recommend.
