The main house is very welcoming, cozy, warm, feels like home, and it's clean. The shower is the best thing in the world you will experience when you come back from your multi-day trip in the Gobi/Central Mongolia/etc. Munkhtuya, the person running the place, is so knowledgeable about UB and the rest of the country; you will be doing yourself a favor by following her advice. The tours I went on from here were unforgettable. If you come in low season, Munkhtuya will be the one who can find you a spot in a tour, if anyone can. The people I met on the tours became my friends; we still keep in touch.

Kitchen is poorly stocked if you want to make your own food. Lots of pressure to go on tours, not much info if you want to travel independently.

Great place to stay if you're just looking to show up and book a tour. Good showers, warm at night, good common areas.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They helped me with fixing my visa extension which was a real struggle and I absolutely appreciated it - I said thanks a thousand times and bought some chocolate to show my gratitude. However, after the process was completed, the girl suddenly asked for money for her help which left me with a weird feeling that overshadowed the whole stay and made me not want to return to the otherwise lovely hostel. So maybe ask in advance if they charge money for their help…

The stairs to the guest house were a bit burdensome for the traveler.

The location of the accommodation was very good because it was halfway between Genghis Khan Square and the national department store. The next day I left the country, and the breakfast was simple but enough.

The shower was a bit broken, but it was still functional, and overall, didn't detract much from the experience at all.

Top Tour & Guesthouse was fabulous!! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was made for you in the morning and was delicious and they had a driving service to the airport (that was really cheap compared to cabs and other options). It was smaller than other hostels I’ve stayed at but that was part of the charm. It was walking distance to many of the coolest sites in UB. The facilities were really clean and comfortable and it was really cheap. I would highly recommend a stay with Top Tours and Guesthouse Mongolia.

Top Tour & Guesthouse is a very cosy place. It feels like a shared flat with a common living room and kitchen that you can use. Calm atmosphere. Very clean. Nice staff. Good location.

Just one word: perfect! The owner took care of everything - super polite, organized and caring! She took care of tour bookings as well and can arrange tours starting from 1 day to 14 days for regions all over Mongolia. Location is perfect, guesthouse is clean and perfectly heated. We are going to stay there again the next time visiting Mongolia!
