Shower could have been a bit cleaner but this is just a small comment.

Guy at reception (who seemed to be there 24/7) was super friendly and welcoming. Free tea, coffee and toast in little kitchen area, also a shared fridge we could use. Nice location, few minutes walk to many cafes and resturants. Great base to get out and do some hiking.

Unfortunately the weather was miserable and raining, so the rooms felt cold and damp!

Lovely guest house tucked away from the main high street. Beautifully kept garden and public areas are very clean including a shared kitchen. The shower had a filter attached 💫

Everything is perfect.The whole area is clean, mattress and pillow xde bau kepam, toilet sgt bersih and towel pon disediakan. Parking disediakan dlm compound, location wise strategic. Highly recommended!!

The toilet flush from every room echoed around the whole place, some kind of pump issue , luckily we had earplugs but otherwise during the night every apartment flushing their chain would have woken you.

We found the Cameron Highlands as a place very disappointing but this Guesthouse was probably one of the best in town. It was nicely done and set back from the noisiness of the town. It's still v close to get to the bars and restaurants but definitely quieter than many other places.

There's a weird smell in the toilet and then spread into the room. the sinky doesn't have warm water when the weather is so cold.

I like the location, the coziness and ambient of the hotel.

It will be great if there is hot water at the basin. Water is too cold to brush teeth

Location was great. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Ample parking Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The surrounding area are very beautiful with lots of flowers & plants. I love it. Has everything we need. Simple diy breakfast is at the pantry ie. Bread, all type of jam, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar, toaster, microwave. Will be great if there is Milo and milk 😊. The staff is very helpful and manage to change one of our room to 1st floor from 2nd floor when we requested. The owner is very friendly and generous too. All guests are treated with bbq dinner on Christmas eve 👍.

the staff in this Place is amazing. super friendly and helpfull and you felt directly welcomed. we booked a tour at the guesthouse which was also nice. the Location is Perfect. it has the most beautiful garden and jungleview from our room. its quiet but central.

Nice location. Not too far from the main street with all the shops and restaurants. Self service kitchen were you can make your own tea/coffee, also toast in the morning. We were allowed to leave our luggage with the receptionist for the while we were on a half day tour. The air was very stuffy in the guesthouse, the bedding and sheets felt cold like they absorbed a lot of water (probably due to the high humidity and beginning rain season).

Very nice Villa located close to the city centre, yet isolated from noise. Beautiful garden. The stuff helped me with some printing. Netflix included.

The room felt perpetually damp and smelled like mold. We always had the feeling of never being quite dry. Our clothes and sheets felt damp which was unsettling. When we woke up in the morning the windows and doors were covered in a thick layer of condensation.

The staff upgraded us to another room because we had asked for to twin beds but they only had a queen. We asked about this and were given a king room for the same price which was lovely. Staff were friendly and extremely accommodating.

We loved our stay at the Highlanders Garden Guesthouse! The hotel is in a great location, just a short walk to the main street in Tanah Rata. The staff were really helpful when we encountered an issue whilst in the Cameron Highlands - they went above and beyond to help us.

Bring indoor slip-ons. Were not prepared to remove our shoes before entering the house and only one pair was provided in the room. Smoking was not allowed indoors so the front porch was used which meant smoke came right in to the guesthouse with doors and windows open all the time. It is set up with outdoor tables to enjoy a coffee or cup of tea but was always occupied by smokers. An area beside the guest house was not used and could be a designated smoking area away from other guests. There were no amenities. The only hand soap in the bathroom was wall mounted in the shower. There was some water damage in the bathroom and a rusty unused rack hanging in the shower There were curfew hours posted but not enforced so guests talking and room doors closing in the middle of the night was quite loud with no sound buffer in the hallways.

The garden is a very peaceful spot to eat a meal or rest in the heat of the afternoon. The room was cozy with a lovely view of the garden. A public kitchen with microwave and fridge is available for guests use and drinking water was always available. It was a bit small and crowded at the busy breakfast hour. Sad that the espresso machine was broken so we had to drink instant coffee. The location was quiet and in walking distance to food and shopping. We enjoyed the smaller town with fewer tourists but taxis were hard to find to get to other places in the Camerons. The day staff was very helpful with arranging transportation and local tours and knew English well. The night staff not so much.
