We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

ItalyIt's very far from Amsterdam but it's not a problem if you use uber, and is also very close to the Almere poort station which allows you to get to Amsterdam or Rotterdam in less then 1 hour.
Everything was perfect and every request was immediatly solved by the staff. The bathroom was clean and very well equipped; in addition, the room cleaning service was always operative and of high quality.

JerseyTravelling by foot made it a nightmare to reach the hotel. Bus from train station doesn't stop outside the hotel. Phone number of hotel on booking.com is the main office. No one answers phone if its after 5pm, or its the weekend. Bathroom leaked.

Belgium- The whole room smelled like sigarettes eventhough i booked a "non-smokers" room - There were no badtowels present in the room - The phone is not connected and there is no available connection, so just for show - Breakfast was way to expensive for a small and not nice breakfast options - After my stay i tried to contact the staff as I've forgotten something in my room to check if they found it and could ship it, but i'm still awaiting response (5 days and counting) I've contacted them by chat, mail, bookingsite, their own hotel site, phone) Nothing worked

Avoid this hotel at any cost, very poor service, booked a family room for 4 people and were given 2 separate rooms which was very bad and the guy at the reception had no clue, AC were not working and 2 times had to change rooms ❌I specifically called the hotel before booking if there is a EV charging station they said yes upon arrival none were working.. we would have been more comfortable sleeping in our cars then this hotel ,Just not sure how would they justify them selfs running this hotel🤔🤔 To make the matter worse the bold guy at the reception had a big fight with one of the customer in front all those kids playing downstairs and 3 police vans came ….. if i could i would have given 0 star for this hotel, beds were very uncomfortable 😣 no ac working and stuff were clueless

United KingdomAs we were family 2 adults 2 children but they don’t have family room so we have to sleep separately. Although I have messaged them before letting them know that we need family room but haven’t heard anything back. My cousin have electric car we called them asking them about charging points they said they have it but when we got there all the charging points were not working. Staff were very poor we have noticed fighting between a customer and one of the staff. As an adult I don’t mind but kids were so frightened .

UkraineThe only downside was the location of the hotel - too far from Amsterdam. We had to take a 3-day pass for 40 euros, but in principle, if you add up the price of the hotel and the pass, it still turns out to be cheaper than renting in Amsterdam itself.
The hotel was wonderful, in a quiet area, cleaning was done every day, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel has an elevator, which makes life very easy for people with suitcases. The room is clean, tidy and has everything you need.

NetherlandsI recently stayed at Hotel Bastion Almere through Booking.com, and I must say that my experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the hotel fell far short of its advertised standards. First and foremost, the room cleanliness was abysmal. I was shocked to find dirty surfaces, dusty corners, and even stains on the bedding. It was clear that the housekeeping staff had neglected their duties, leaving me with an uncomfortable and unsanitary environment. I expected a certain level of cleanliness when paying for accommodation, but sadly, Hotel Bastion Almere failed to deliver. Furthermore, the staff at the hotel were unexperienced and under-qualified. Their lack of professionalism and knowledge was evident in their inability to address even the simplest of requests. I encountered multiple occasions where the staff seemed overwhelmed and unable to handle basic customer service tasks. It was frustrating and left me feeling unsupported during my stay. To make matters worse, there were no towels provided in the room. It is an absolute basic expectation for any hotel to provide clean towels for guests. I found it unacceptable that I had to request towels separately and wait for an extended period before they were eventually delivered. Such negligence in providing basic amenities is simply inexcusable. The breakfast offered by Hotel Bastion Almere was a complete disappointment. The quality and variety of the food were subpar, with limited options available. It felt as though the hotel was cutting corners to save costs, resulting in a lackluster and unappetizing breakfast experience. For the price I paid, I expected a more enjoyable and satisfying meal to start my day. Overall, my stay at Hotel Bastion Almere left me feeling deeply dissatisfied and regretful. The lack of cleanliness, unqualified staff, absence of towels, and poor breakfast all contributed to an experi

GermanyThe ceiling in the bathroom was full with mold, there was like sand dirt at the corner wall in the bathroom, spider web on the corners of the ceiling at the entrance and dirt spots on the curtain. Some people choose a cheaper hotel room because they only need to shower and sleep and the next day hit another destination. There is no explanation why cheaper hotel rooms can’t be CLEAN!!! Higher prices have to do with amenities, quality, space etc, but cleanliness ?
