How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I have zero complaints. It is dated but I honestly didn't care.
I slept like a baby!!! I never sleep well at hotels, cause well it's just not home. However, I slept like a champ during my one night stay.

Needed some minor updates to things like the TV (size of TV was small compared to size of room) bedside lamps with charging adapters would be a wonderful bonus as we had to move the bed to plug in our phone charger. Mini fridge with a freezer would also be an added bonus.
Location was wonderful, rooms were clean and staff was friendly

The refrigerator didn’t have a freezer(I use reusable ice packs for my cooler so I don’t have to buy ice for my water and soft drinks).and the bathroom was clean but small.The price was little steep for no continental breakfast and the pool was closed because it was January/ February so I didn’t expect it to be open!
Very close to where I was working and lots of food possibilities nearby. I booked a king smoking room but was put in a standard 2 bed room which I didn’t argue about because it was on the bottom floor (no stairs!). Just needed a place to stay for the night so if I’m in the area again I’ll definitely check the availability of this hotel.

The lady at the front desk the next morning was not friendly at all. When I walked in she acted like I was an inconvenience. I asked if she could unlock to pool and she said the pool doesn't open till 9 even though the sign at the pool says 8am. She did unlock it however. A couple hours later when we were checking out, the front door to the office was now locked and we did ring the bell a couple times, but no one ever answered. The beds were ok, but I would definitely bring your own pillow. Bathtub didn't have a drain plug, so we had to use a rag.
The location was good. It had a pool. The rooms were well insulated and quiet. Didn't hear any noise outside or next door all night like most hotels. The gentleman that checked me in was very polite. Had a small koi fish pond by the office that my kids enjoyed looking at. Not a 5 star hotel , but I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Was disappointed that they no longer offer breakfast.
Nice landscaping and pool. Just a few miles from our event at Whiteparh Farms.

Had to repeatedly ring the bell to get a response from the night manager. Manager was not too excited to see us because we got stuck in FOG TRAFFIC and arrived after Midnight. Not our fault but he was grumpy about it
Comfortable bed only spent short hours of sleep here.

The beds were okay for a night stay but not long term stays. The staff in the morning was hard to get ahold of. When we left at 7 am the door to lobby was locked with sign saying call this number but was so old you could bo longer read it. So called the number from booking and took like 10 mins before a man finally opened the door obviously was asleep. That was the only issue was trying to checkout and comfort of the beds. There was crack in our bathtub but did not use it. Just old and bit outdated but like I said good for one night or two might stay.
The property was convenient to Blue Ridge off main drag and easy in and off main road. Many food locations and stores nearby.

Upon check in, desk clerk wouldn’t let me switch credit cards for payment. wasn’t too happy about that, but past that nice stay.

Hotel been around for many years. Expect a room with a decent bed and shower.
Had visited 20 years ago. Facilities have been slightly upgraded. No breakfast - local restaurants close by.
