Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GreeceThe window did not open in order to have fresh air and the light was a little low. The room was quite small but it was OK.
The room was a Cosy, little but cute place just on the canal, where you can relax and enjoy the view. We had a free drink in the bar next to the river and we slept well. The room has an air condition and a small bathroom with warm water!

GermanyThe room window goes directly to the street, so if you want some privacy you need to close the curtains, so the room gets dark, so you need to have the light always on. Parking was not available.
Restaurant in the hotel was really nice, but expensive. The breakfast was also really good. A cool boat theme.

RomaniaUnfortunately the room have no window that opens or other way to ventilate the room with fresh air. More, the glass wall from the bathroom was not up to the ceiling and allowed steam from the shower to enter the room. That's why the air in the room was humid.
The hotel concept is very good and the location is excellent. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The hotel is situated on the water "barge-style". It is quite big so you don't feel any movement from the water. The room was simple but comfortable. The bathroom is very spacious. The hotel is situated within walking distance to the Markthal, cube houses etc. Thank you for a lovely stay- we hope to be back again soon!

BelgiumIt was my first time sleeping on a boat hotel and I loved it! I booked a double room with terrace for a friend and I on a tuesday. We asked for two beds which was fixed very quickly. The front desk clerks were all superfriendly and helpful. They arranged taxis for us and things to do in the city! Thanks guys! In the morning when our taxi arrived they also came to get us in our room. The hotel is located in the centre of Rotterdam and is just a few minutes away from a watertaxi, tram, metrostation, the famous Market hall and a few other hot spots. When it's a beautiful, warm and sunny day the room with terrace is recommended and if no one is sleeping in the room with terrace opposite of you, the terrace can be considered private.

Its position is perfect, and the staff is very professional and nice. The floating terrace is quite cool. The bar and the barmen are competent and funny.

Staff were friendly and relaxed too. Sunny warm day and evening helped. Good selection of tasty things for breakfast and excellent coffee. We would happily return.
